GTA Chinatown Wars - Ending / Final Mission - Salt in the Wound 

"This city sucks." When I read that in Huang's replay mission board, I felt he was a reverse Niko Bellic. He was already a rich man who came to LC just to do a favor, but gets caught in the middle of the Triad Wars, and when everything was over, he ended up alone. If you 100% the game, you can see he became a very influencial drug dealer and Real State major, but I doubt that will make him stay. And even if the Tong gets him to rule the LC Triads, he will probably refuse and leave. Poor Huang, the only good thing I can say is at least you fulfilled your promise.

This was really a good game not going to lie

To be honest, this is something that was foreshadowed too: - In the beginning, when you reach Wu Kenny Lee's restaurant, Kenny will say that he has HEARD he has been ambushed, while Kenny himself didn't witness it. - When Ling died, and Kenny got informed, Kenny didn't seem to care about his ally's death. - Kenny tried to save Huang from being executed by Hsin because Hsin thought he's the FIB informant, and if the FIB informant is still out there with Huang dead, Hsin might suspect Kenny since he already sees Zhou and Chan as people that are loyal - The FIB contact of Wade Heston is of course the FIB informant himself too, who works alongside Wu Kenny Lee, and he ordered Weston to destroy Zhou's Boat, which was given over to Huang, which presumably is so that Kenny can sabotage's Zhou's business, Zhou alongside Chan was also framed later for being FIB informants in the game

I really want them to remake this game with voice acting and HD/3D visuals some day. Great story with some humor. Also brought lottery, drug market, and more as well. Also brought back ammunation and real estate

The real antagonist here is Hsin I believe. He even had the guts to ask Huang for a loyalty test after all that jazz

I always wanted this game remade in the same style as GTA IV.

You know why the twist with betrayal worked for me? It`s good writing really,the whole game we aren`t focused on Huang personal problem (Revenge for father) but on Triad stuff (Finding the rat) and it isn`t really mentioned through the game and then BANG!! Great game

End of the game eh? Welp to be honest, I liked Kenny and it was all Hsin's fault anyways even Huang knows that which you can see when you go to replay, there would be a small note left by Huang.

I remember killing uncle using chainsaw, was one of the best thing I've ever tried

I enjoyed how the betrayal was revealed at the last mission this time around instead of either being incredibly obvious from the beginning, or revealed relatively soon into the story. It lead to a nice conclusion to a mystery arc that spanned the entire game. Overall, if this was a voiced game, I think Uncle Kenny would have been a contender for one of the best antagonists. Sadly, due to the lack of voice acting, I have trouble feeling that way. Voice invokes feelings that text just doesn't. However, I enjoyed Kenny regardless, and I feel like he went through character development throughout the course of the game. I got the vibe that he started to actually care about Huang by the end of the game, climaxing with the Rat Race mission where they worked together to get to Hsin. While he certainly used Huang to remove the competition, I feel to Kenny he became more like family as time went on. He gave Huang the majority of the mission rewarded safehouses after acting like the first one was already too much, and doesn't even complain anymore about the 'rent' by that point, cleared Huang's name in the gang after he became the leader when he really didn't have to, and seemed to genuinely want to convince Huang that he wasn't a bad guy, instead of dropping an act, as if in the end he didn't really want to lose him. Hell, he didn't even have the intention of killing Huang by the end of the game once everything was said and done, and I feel if they hadn't figured everything out, he would have kept Huang around. In the end, while he wasn't remorseful of his killing of his brother, and he wanted to be the Triad leader by any means necessary, it was Hsin that caused this to flare up in the first place, and I blame him more than I blame Kenny. Kenny was following orders. While he could gain something from it, I feel he wouldn't have done anything if he wasn't ordered to. That was what sparked the killing of Huang's father. If there was the option to spare Kenny, I probably would have done it.

I love me some Mexican standoff. That was almost some John Woo stuff right there.

I wish they made Kenny more of a challenge. He's the final boss yet all he has is a sword and average health? Come on bro the fight is in a big ass penthouse, Kenny should've pulled a Big Smoke by hiding around, turning off the lights to catch you off-guard and retaliating with actual weapons

Damn, the Triads got hit hard, and mostly by their own hand. And i thought the Lost MC had it bad heh. Nice to see this game again, i had fun playing it & had fun watching it x3

Everything has an end

Why is my memory so faded of this game, i used to play it every day and i only remember the beginning and ending, nothing in between, i will admit this was 10 years ago and i was still in fifth grade, a hundred hours of gaming just vanished from my mind..

After killing Kenny there should have been a cutscene in which gravely injured Kenny crawls on the floor and Huang approaches him with a pistol and says "I will never forgive you for what you done, you treacherous swine! It's far too late for that!". Kenny then pleads with Huang for his life and tries to explain his actions but Huang coldly replies "You didn't betray our family or gang! You betrayed yourself!" and shoots him in the head, killing him. Then Huang comes to gravely injured Hsin.

Now watching the ending makes me think did Huang became the new Triade Boss or not, did someone else took over, is he still in Liberty City ? Did he moved to Vice City or Los Santos or back to China like these are the big questions And Huang is personaly one of my most favourite GTA characters same level as CJ and also I doubt zhat Huang is dead like Johnny in GTA 5 who got killed by Trevor or like Vic Vance who got killed at the beginning of GTA Vice City he is like Luis from GTA BoGT he gets always the job done no matter how dangerous it is so I bet that Huang is still alive AND I HOPE!!!!! I hope that he will show up in the next GTA game and I dont care if he is a side character or a guy who gives you missions I want my boy Huang motherfucking Lee!!!!!!
