I'm surprised that how no one ever asked him about this character on any interview, not even he mentioned anywhere. this is literally one of the greatest voice acting of all time
@@nicoffee777 I'm pretty sure the meaning of the term 'killed by a legend' when used on Tenpenny is the same as the term 'voiced by a legend', because Tenpenny technically killed himself in a traffic accident. CJ and Sweet indirectly caused that to happen, but remember, Tenpenny was the rpot cause of his own demise.
@@eduardorg1125 he had good writing at the beginning but his voice actor MC Eiht had leave cuz he doing his music stuff so they just kinda killed him which was pretty sad
@@SeaOfMany I hoped Ryder would be one of CJ's best buddies, I thought the story would be heading to a redemption arc since he's a douchebag weedsmoker trying to be a friend, not a totally useless person. Then Ryder just appears as a villain and it doesn't fit the previous cutscenes.
Tenpenny reminds me of so much of Denzel's character in Training Day.....especially the death scene of Tenpenny and that last hood scene of Training Day are so relatable.....
Except Alonzo gets gunned down by the Russian mob, making his demise much worse than Tenpenny’s. Frank Tenpenny slowly died from the impact or possibly a heart attack. Although, he does get surrounded by Grove Street’s gang. Just like how the Russian mob surrounded Alonzo Harris.
Yeah......To be honest, he's everywhere! He's over there. He's over here. He's on top of that mountain shouting and he's also in my house. Where else could he be?
Tenpenny has caused an explosion, the lightning in the building is off and the whole place is beginning to burn down. You need to get out of here quick!
The most terrifying thing about Tenpenny is how realistic he is. There are plenty of dirty cops out there willing to do anything to anything to get what they want.
I would love it if Tenpenny turned out to be the good guy, doing things for the sake of San Andreas AND at the same time Grove Street some of the times, even if he has to be hated for it. But hell, having the first person you ever met in the beginning of the game as the final boss of the very game is truly amazing by itself!
@@malealoy5622 Vaas is meh. Very overrated and overhyped and nothing special, Vaas is nothing compared to Tenpenny and you cant compete with Samuel L. Jackson.
Hernandez was forced to side with Tenpenny, otherwise him and Pulaski would kill him, so I think he's silent because he doesn't like the situation but has to endure while he tries finding ways to expose C.R.A.S.H.
I've recently seen Jackson in Star Wars again, but when I saw him the words "Caaarl Johnson, myyyy man!" from the final GTA mission instantly popped up in my head. Wherever I see him, Tenpenny's voice is with me now.
