Man, this brings back so many memories of this game. I remember Rockstar had a GTA4 website up with like little clickable things for the new characters and a pre order page, and I visited that page all the time in excitement for the new game. When it came out, I think everyone thought this was the most ground breaking looking graphics we’d ever seen. And they still hold up today, but this is how it looked in my head back then lmao. Reminds me of much simpler times with GTA. Rockstar was giving us good story expansions, the online was fun. Just going into online free mode was such a fun time. Now days, free mode in GTA5 you got tanks, flying cars, all kinds of bullshit. Shit just isn’t fun.
You're an habitual offender for claiming the Rage Engine has "Ray Tracing" ! Nope. It supports screen space reflections and cube maps. It has never supported RT.
It's a shame the original developers will never incorporate these types of settings/features in their games. Even the next generation GTA 6 will be a let down...
My serious question is: why can a person alone without an entire studio at his disposal make such incredible graphics and mods while the real team of Rockstar can't? What is stopping them from releasing a game like this? It would explode the market from day one

would have loved to not see GTA V character animations for Niko. actually i’m seeing GTA V animations and physics for everything. visually this is great but other than that this is just a reskinned GTA V.

Except if you're from here or live here u would understand the reason why R* didn't shed any light. I mean, ofc there's tons of sunny days, but sometimes it looks like a sepia filer here cause of the cloudy skies. I feel like it's like this most of the time, but I love how the skies look grey a lot cause it gives me that early retro 90s feel

Since you're using a lot of map mods. It would be awesome if you combine all the GTA 3D universe maps with all the GTA HD universe maps. GTA 3 + GTA LCS, GTA VC + GTA VCS, GTA SA, GTA IV + GTA TLAD + GTA TBOGT and GTA V. If the maps of all these 10 games are somehow combined and ported to GTA V, then it'll create the biggest map ever.
Be great to see a modern day Liberty City return online and it looks like Rockstar are aiming for that to happen with GTA online 2.0 since they announced plans to expand the universe going forward after GTA 6 is released. An updated Liberty City with WTC1 which would likely be named something such as {The Liberty Tower) on the old mafia construction site would be an ace update to. Obviously things have changed over time so the Liberty City of 2007-2008 would have to be bought up to 2023 and onwards. Be cool to have the ability to expand your criminal empire from Lost Santos to Vice City all the way over to Liberty City and beyond that in future. Contacts from remaining characters in Liberty City from GTA 4 such as Niko, Roman, Little Jacob, Mallorie, Luis Lopez, Armando, Hernandez and new characters would be cool. Maybe being sent there by your business partner (Tony Prince) to expand the Nightclub empire while doing small jobs for Luiz's buddies as you work with Luis to expand, do taxi jobs for Roman, meet Niko in a cameo and do a few side jobs for him to help little Jacob, get involved with the dying Italian Mafia and the Russian mafia or whoever is currently running the real life NYC crime syndicates these days and streamline your jobs so some of them you would have to make journeys or deliveries from Vice to Liberty or to Los Santos. The possibilities are endless.
Now rockstar should of remastered gta v brought back niko Lu ice since they killed Johnny character surprisingly in Gta 5 which was a complete disappointment the whole game it self they should of kept the same landscape as San Andreas just strictly about gang missions and liberty city should be brought back as it was in GTA 4 & episodes it would of been a amazing best seller game instead of making Miami Florida vice city the 2 best gta are 4 & San Andreas this video was beautiful made bring back the hoods and bikers and drug dealers street gang members in New York LC ❤ thank you for the video

Lol people still think the only to do on foot is fight the police. 😂 And this trailer HAS to show predominantly that because it’s how most brainless people play this game. Such a shame these beautiful graphics and engine could’ve showcased much better things Liberty City so much better.

Can someone tell me why its not possible to have this level of gfx when playing GTA Roleplay? Does the server have to provide this high level materials and models? Or cant they just be modified locally?
its lagging and look shit in my opinion. Textures popoff and disappear sometimes, render distance making me laugh and... yea its lagging on rtx 3090 come on
