I go to a place to have my rwd car put on a dyno that is (awd) when my car is on the machine all four of my wheels spin is that bad and should they be able to lock the front rollers

Did you guys use the Linney/Svecs AWD controller to get it into RWD? Interested in doing this to my GTR and was curious if you think it would be safe to drive it RWD all the time

All you need to do is remove the front wheel drive prop shaft and it will default to rear wheel drive. I don’t see any benefit to running it like this all the time but I honestly can’t see why it would hurt anything either.

do a drag 1/4 time. i have a feeling rwd will do better since drag strip track already been prep.

anything above 500wtq awd is gonna win at a dragstrip comparing apples to apples

@@fukers2stop it depend. we have to compare to actually see. drag strip the ground is sticky compare to normal road. some gtr with power over 1400hp that is converted to rwd and do better than awd. it doesnt mean its better but that was one case. it show he gain about 12hp rwd. how much it slip we dont know. less power loss.

It might trap a tiny bit higher MPH but AWD will definitely launch better. Also, even at 1500whp most of these cars are full RWD by about 120mph.

Active on AWD and deactivated on RWD.

No information here, dynojet software is crap. You are saying that the same engine on the same chassi will put more power or less power from AWD to RWD. This is a stupid test with a very bad software and data acquisition. No true here.

Let's think about the moment of inertia required to rotate a wheel, now a differential, now a driveshaft.... I think you get the point! This is not new. AWD vehicles commonly lose more power to the wheels than single drive axles just like manual lose less in comparison to automatics. Nothing wrong with a dynojet. Proven many times over as the most repeatable brand of dyno. Don't believe me? Ask many other reputable companies that use them or NASA and why they require dynojet for number validation. Thanks for the comment though!

@@boostcontrolledperformance1523 Great work, Alex!! Most people by now should know about the parasitic drive-train loss differences between AWD, FWD, & RWD. Like a lot of people, I also USED to believe the Mustang vs Dynojet myth, until I researched it and found that there's really no way to compare them, due to the differences and variables with how different dynos measure power. I also found out that dyno numbers don't mean crap, because I've beaten cars with a lot more power than my 2012 Evo X (white) that you tuned (Ken F.)! Keep up the great work, Alex/BCP!!
