This commentator keeps saying Dabuz is the only Rosalina player to fight without Luma... That it's "unique"? Has he watched no other Rosas? Basically all Rosas have to do that now. Kirihara, Falln, whoever, they all have to it at this level of play.
not to mention that Dabuz spent a lot of time rolling to the edge and throwing retreating nairs when his luma was dead during this set. Dude was praising his aggression while he literally rolled against the edge of the stage then threw 2 nairs in a row while peach was across the stage.

I also don't appreciate how they will just continue on with bland/generic analysis while an amazing combo happens or even the ending of a game. Just feels emotionless and soulless. Couldn't even manage some excitement when Samsora wins the set causing a huge upset. Honestly the commentating sounded more like reading a forum thread on the Peach-Rosa match up than 2 people discussing a match going on in front of them.
Dabux actually WAS being very aggressive for the first 3 games. I think that he thought that it might be what was costing him the games after his long thinking pause, so he just started being really defensive and waiting out the Luma. Can't defend the commentators much tho lol
I’m not picky with my commentary for Sm4sh, but these guys were awful. Barely talked about the match in front of them, gave soooo much false information, and I’ve never heard the word conversion more times in a day. It’s not an easy thing to do, but we need more commentators that actually deliver hype, instead of being robots. At least the crowd got exited. Well done Samsora tho!
they literally have no education when it comes to this mu, matter of fact. they seem to have little knowledge of even the basics when it comes to top level play
we need commentators that actually know about smash, major commentary has been pretty weak lately. They have no idea why either players are picking the options they are
