Well... We'd want to get the maximum amount of performance from the 750 Ti so I'm thinking a 9th Gen Intel or equivalent AMD.

I have a gtx 650, i5 2400 and I was able to fully load into the game and get through the cut scene then my game crashed (all low settings)

how??... i have this on a rx560 and i cant play it at all. its unplayable, even on 800x600 resolution & everything on ultra low.

I'm still running a GTX 980 TI at 1440P I can achieve most games even newer ones at 1440p medium or so

Minimum gpu for the game is 1060 3gb so I'm assuming the 970 won't be too bad.

That's right, a greater amount of Video Ram or Vram, helps to have a better performance in games and also allows a higher Graphic Quality / Effects to be applied to the game. But all keeping a certain proportion between the amount of Vram, muscle in the Graphic Chip, the Resolution/fps that are targeted, depending on the game in question. In other words, a GTX 750ti 4GB Vram will deliver a better gaming experience overall than a GTX 750ti with only 2GB Vram (even more so in specific cases where more Vram than only 2GB is required), but a GTX 750ti with 8GB-16GB Vram would be of no use, since it would take more power/muscle in the Graphic Chip to properly use that amount of Vram. * It's like when on the one hand you have a GT 730 4GB DDR3 (96 CUDA Cores) and on the other hand a GT 730 2GB GDDR5 (384 CUDAs), then it doesn't matter that the GT 730 with 96 CUDAs has 4GB of Vram, because it's a Weaker graphics (96 CUDAs vs 384) and because the Vram is type DDR3 (much lower than the Vram GDDR5), instead the other GT 730 with 384 CUDAs, in addition to being more powerful, has a faster Vram (GDDR5) and for that level of Graphics 2GB Vram is not bad (even GT 730/384 CUDAs with 1GB GDDR5 are more appealing than GT 730/96 CUDAs/4GB DDR3). * A similar case to the GTX 750ti 2GB vs GTX 750ti 4GB would be the GTX 760 2GB vs GTX 760 4GB, the GTX 960 2GB vs GTX 960 4GB, the RX 470/RX 570/RX 580 4GB vs the 8GB versions, etc. * We could also talk about the GTX 1060 3GB vs GTX 1060 6GB, both have GDDR5 type Vram, but one only has 3GB Vram and the other 6GB, in addition to internally the GTX 1060 6GB has more resources in its guts than the 3GB version ; Today more than ever (in this case) the best option is the 6GB version (if you have in mind playing at 900p/1080p). * Roughly speaking, the following GPUs have a similar performance between them > GTX 1660Ti 6GB GDDR6 = GTX 1660 Super 6GB GDDR6 = GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5, surely some games will work better on one or the other GPU (it will depend on the taste of each player) , but regardless of the Performance/Electric Consumption issue, personally I would be more inclined towards a GTX 1070 8GB, but also the price to pay for each one. * (Speaking in a very general way) The problem is that historically Nvidia has launched more powerful GPUs, with lower consumption and more polished Drivers than AMD, but also "The Green team" usually asks for much more money for those GPUs, besides Nvidia It is usually much more stingy with the Vram than AMD; On the other hand, AMD usually launches GPUs with more Vram and with a better Price/Performance ratio, although with higher electrical consumption and more "Gypsy" Drivers, especially at the start of their life cycle, but it must also be said that AMD GPUs They tend to improve over time (like good Wines), while Nvidia's are only dedicated to holding the advantage with their nails (some lose them and others tie them).

i am currently using the gtx 750 regular one it is still pretty good just wish it had more vram

@@iambrd1543 Probably depends on the gpu and the driver version. In the Mon Bazou dev discord, we were discussing it and a decent amount of people using rtx 3000 series gpus had issues (one was fine, but everyone else had the game crash/break), and on older amd cards, the game ran worse (my experience with older gcn cards on dx12). Intel Iris XE benefits hugely from DX12.

Never my i7-6700 is struggeling in the game :/

Yeah, I am a little bit irked with these videos because nobody with a 750ti will be running a modern cpu in the real world. Still interesting to check out, but if someone sees this and thinks they can run it on their system they're most likely going to be disappointed when the recommended minimum processor is an i5 8400.

The GTX 560 is the recommended GPU for the first game and the 750ti is faster than that.

I agree it's the engine sadly. These new engines want more gpu power for basically zero seeable benefit. I'm sure there's some fancy stuff going on in the background but I'm getting kindof tired of how these new engines always want gpu power but the games dont look all that much better. And even when u do make the game go into potato mode it's still bogging down ur fps like crazy. But hey nvidia has to make money somehow.
