Guaranteed greener lawn with one application by adding iron to your yard. You’ll see results in 48 to 72 hours. You will have a darker greener Lawn guaranteed.
Your community looks beautiful! You could definitely see the difference from your yard to your adjacent neighbors. Thanks for sharing. I just applied ironite in my lawn as well. Hope to get some good results.
You have a beautiful home and lawn. Feels great to have the greenest, most beautiful lawn on the street. Followed your steps and the results are amazing
Thank you for informative video. For me the most important information was that I can’t burn with iron. It’s not a nitrogen. I didn’t know about that. Thank you so much !👍🏻
Ironite is the best for lawn. Fertilizer is only great during Spring time when grass are still trying to grow to fill up your lawn. Putting down Fertilizer in the summer is only going to make you cut more grass quickly. You want to water your lawn and put grass regulator and Ironite so you can cut less and have a greener lawn all summer to mid fall.
Subscribed for two reasons. 1) Just straight forward information. Almost all of it was done in regular speed. Didn't even think to cover the borders before spreading in the middle. 2) Ego blower. 🤣
i just used this product for the first time about ten days ago. after about five days i started to noticed a significant change. i had to set my scotts spreader on the #4 setting because the prill size is a bit too large for #3 however, that could just be my spreader
@@ryandelk04 I cant tell if I need ironite or lime. Ill start with a soil test, but thanks for the vid. I use milorganite during the summer months, but my grass always goes doormant
I also love the Ironite products, but I use the liquid sprayer. Hard to find in FL when the nitrogen and phosphorus products are pulled from the shelves until fall. But I buy ahead. :-) I am sure your one neighbor, with the yellowish lawn rolls his eyes when he sees you comin. :-)
I’m never too scared about over doing it with iron, to mess up with iron, you have to really go crazy! But obviously I recommend to always follow the instructions 😊
@@ryandelk04 My 1st experience with Ironite so after I emptied the 15Lb bag on 2900 Sqft of front lawn..I got a little nervous..😦 ..I'm with you..don't think 5000 Sq Ft is realistic...Getting a nice rain now so my timing is perfect.👍...we'll see soon on the application...from western Canada..!! 😁😆
I see you found the answer but thanks for watching! I know the setting on the back is too low for me, I barely see anything coming out so I turn it up.
Hey Luis, St. Augustine is listed as one that iron can help darken. I’m not a st. Augustine expert by any means but I’m pretty sure it’ll dark green it up!
Can I put Scott’s turf builder and ironite together on my newly hydro seeded lawn (it’s been 10 weeks now)? Also what’s the application intervals? Does it have any expiry?
ryandelk04 Darn! The lawn is infected with crabgrass all over and it’s so quickly growing in height. I may need to spray the round up concentrated, then wait and apply ironite and the fertilizer. I spoke to the contractor and he says it’s common to get weeds in the sunny area after hydro seeding. I just hope that this works. Have spent a fortune now!
Even if you have to wait to tackle those weeds, when you put down your preemergent later this year and the beginning of next season, it should prevent it from coming back.
ryandelk04 Had another question. Any idea how soon you can see the expected results compared to Scott’s? Scott’s max green says in 3 days. Also, ironite granules are big. I had to set my spreader settings between 5 and 6 although the bag says 3. Strange!
@@ryandelk04 If you set the spreader to the specified setting and you go over that same area twice, arnt you essentially putting down double the recommended amount?
I actually open it more than the setting because it’s hard fir it to come out on the recommendation setting. So yes I do put more than bag rate but it will not hurt, it’ll only make it greener until you go overboard with it!
Lol I’ll take that into consideration in future videos. It takes a lot of patience to record, wait a couple weeks, then record the follow up before editing, BUT, I will try harder!
@@ryandelk04 It was not a diss man, typing words makes it look like i was bitching. Keep the video coming, im learning how to take care of my lawn and your video inspired me to make my grass look green. Are you still using ironite? Debating whether to get some from lowes this week end.
would have helped if you had included before and after videos... because the lawn you show on your video is already looking lime green and healthy and ironite will NOT get the deep green you are advertising. Like all granular fertilizers it will take 3-4 weeks to break down and afterwards be absorbed by the grass roots.... and not 48 hours as you state. Also you have to water after application by either sprinklers, hose or expected rain. For immediate dark green that lasts, requires the use of a liquid iron product applied by a sprayer. That's the only way to get that dark rich green lawn. Professional Lawn management companies apply liquid fertilizer from the tanks on their trucks. Not talking about the local yahooes who drive around in pick up trucks and use push mowers. If you already have a healthy lawn - what yo call lime green, then ironite will do nothing more than be a waste of money.
Ah! Just left a comment on ironite on another video. We recently bought a home and the past owners left us with some dog stains lol. I laid some inronite to hopefully bring back the color. By chance that might work?
It really depends, sometimes those dog spots are too bad and you’ll have to dig it up a little bit and mix top soil in. Sometimes you can just put soil on top and the Bermuda will grow through.
I followed your video but, I must have done something wrong, as its been 4 days later and I don’t see a difference. Oh well, I’ll try again in 4 weeks…
@@ryandelk04 thank you for responding. I did water and it rained 4 days later. No problem, as I’ll try again until I get it right. I would like to have a beautiful and rich green lawn like yours. Again, thank you…
