A Guard Padlock No.636 50mm wide that a friend recently brought with him after a trip to the Netherlands. A nice gift which was much appreciated!

These are actually decent locks, made in the USA. Newer ones are made in Canada or Taiwan. They are not to be confused with "Guard Security" which are very cheap locks.

Nice "pat"lock, did you try to pick it ?? Is it a 5 or 6 pin ??

Haha Jim, I am still getting that wrong am I? Going to mke it better next time ;) it is a 5 pinner and I believe it has some spools but other than that nothing special. I did only try to pick it once and will keep it unpicked now. It is a collectors piece for me.

Very nice looking lock Adrian my friend. I am sending Amy Gordon a care package out this weekend or at weekend so will post your vintage Squire padlocks with brass plug follower too. Also have some plastic plug followers to send to MrAnybody that a work mate made, so may try post those also if my funds allow. I sent you a PM not long ago making sure your address was still correct but got no reply.. is it the same, probably best to PM me again on RU-vid or even better my personal email that you have buddy.

No need to send me a care package mate as will take you long enough to dust cobwebs off these squire locks I bought for you a long time ago... They are old anyway, but my timing due to my operations has aged them more LOL!!!
