And we certainly love you all across the Atlantic too. I’m so thankful that we are friends after 150 years of tension. We’ve been allies now for almost 100 years.❤️🤍💙
the hypocrisy is so crippling because britain have more blood on their hands than any country in the world and the problem is yet the will console america but yet tell northern ierland to forget about the troubles and that is was nothing to them but an quote "annoyance to british solidiers
yes this is good but the tory MP's have told us to put bloody sunday behind our backs and there will be no compensation to people effected by the troubles it sickens me seeing this take the all the good things for one country and showers it on another
@@marcusmcguckin3129 I am amazed that you can still walk with that huge chip on your shoulder. It’s because of people like you on both sides who cannot forgive and forget that hatred persists and more families on both sides suffer the loss of fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. Obsessed by historic grievance and bigotry. Perpetuators of hate. Shame on you!
*Britain That's a military band from the country of Wales, rather than England. All English people are British, but not all British people are English 🙂
@@goldfish2379 I’ve never even thought about it like that but it’s kinda true. We were all friends until mom made some new rules we didn’t like. We were rebellious and young, so we fought you on it. 300 years later and you’ll always love us even if we make mistakes, and deep down we always love you.
The first time they did this after 9/11 was so respectful and the fact they did it again 20 years later shows us who our greatest ally is. We love you England and God save the King!
Thank you Britain for showing respect for the ones killed on 9/11. It means alot to many Americans. I got a lump in my throat listening to this video. Much appreciated.
Your welcome I remember after the Manchester arena attack in 2017 at a baseball game in the states they played the British national anthem in honour to us it meant a lot as well to us Terrorism will never come between our great nations
@@bewareofsasquatch Nah. This is about the US and what happened on 9/11. Ain't too hard to understand. Keep your grievances in the privacy of your own mind until it's the appropriate time to share.
@@goldfish2379 thank you for keeping your faith in us, we have the same faith in you. Our governments do not speak for us any longer, maybe they never have. 😔
As a Yank, first I would say "thanks." But then I will apologize to our great Allies. I will say that the reprehensible acts--and omissions to act--by our government, our so-called President, and our Pentagon have not gone unnoticed. The audacity to give aid and comfort to the most vicious enemy--whether by accident, ineptitude, oversight, or by direct intent and plotting--have not gone unnoticed. The abandonment of our closest Allies has not gone unnoticed. The abandonment of brave, volunteer Afghans to their brutal enemy by our government has not gone unnoticed. The abandonment of thousands of girls and young boys to vicious predators by our government has not gone unnoticed. And so my government is placed on notice: *allies of terror and oppression will be stamped out wherever they lurk* by an awakened American body politic in their righteous might. We have defeated a global superpower before, and we can do so again. Do not feel so safe in your Fort Pelosi that you can be overrun, or better yet, simply walled off from ruining American life, American business, and American prosperity and that of our closest Allies. You will be removed from power, this day or the next, peaceably preferred but otherwise if we must. We will not lay down on the grind stone to be made into your fodder. Move out, or be moved. You decide.
As a New Yorker who experienced that sad dreadful event and for months saw body bags being carried out for ground zero, this beautiful tribute is very touching. To the Windsor Castle Marching Band and to her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, I deeply want to express my heartfelt gratitude for this amazing tribute. ❤️
This brought tears to my eyes. Regardless of the location, this tragic event has affected so many and it warms my heart that another country played the national anthem in honor of this event. May we all unite together and forget about all of the things that “divide” us further. We will always have your back! ❤️
I live in Yorktown, Virginia, where we had a famous battle with the British in 1781. I also lived in England for three years in the 1960s. Thank you for this lovely rendition. American and Britain, Allies Forever.
Our thanks to the "Brits" for this moving performance. Also a salute to our Canadian neighbors for hosting the many flights that were diverted to their shores on that fateful day.
There was a programme on my cable TV last week in the UK about the planes being diverted into gander never in their lives would they think they would have to deal with anything like this The air traffic controllers were definitely heroes that day but ordering the planes to land and making the skies safer
As a proud Brit this made me very emotional the bond we have with America will never be broken. The sacrifices we have made together and the things we have achieved are ground breaking. Thinking of all those innocent people who lost their lives in the tragic events of 9/11, god bless America 🇺🇸🇬🇧
If I can ask were you born on 9/11/01? I was 7 years old and don’t remember the day that well but I remember going to bed that evening and seeing my father watching news with a look of disgust. And thank you for the respect to our country, god save the Queen
Thank you for this tribute. This is the anniversary of the terrible day of the attack on America and we remember all who perished on that day. May God rest their souls.
Today the eyes of all people are truly upon us-and our governments, in every branch, at every level, national, state and local, must be as a city upon a hill-constructed and inhabited by men aware of their great trust and their great responsibilities. JFK, 1961
Shortly after the events of 9/11 the Queen broke with tradition and had the band at Buckingham Palace play the National Anthem while there was no state visit. Many people equated it to a mother trying to comfort her hurt child.
That was very touching, playing our National Anthem! Thank you and may your shores always be secure! So sorry for so many lost, rest in God's peace brothers and sisters!
With gratitude to the UK for commemorating a day that will live on within me as a day of infamy ----indelibly etched in my psyche as a proud NYC native who knew first hand on September 11 the call for ordinary New Yorkers to stand shoulder to shoulder ....united...and demonstrate to the world the extraordinary strength and courage New Yorkers have in a crisis of unimaginable proportions. We will never forget. Prayers today for everyone affected then, now, always. Blessings ✨
I proudly placed my hand over my heart and burst into tears watching this. Thank you, United Kingdom. It was an attack on the entirety of western civilization, but so many of our brave citizens died trying to save those in buildings full of international businesses.
I’m here a year later and this moves me. Thank you England, for having our back in the war to follow. I’m sure her majesty in heaven is proud of her nation. God save the queen and long live the king 🇺🇸🇬🇧
People do not understand the amount of respect that went into this they are literally playing a song that was written against them this just goes to show how close we really are is nations nowadays and I am forever grateful to our British family, I couldn’t think of a more respectful situation it’s ever happened
Oh my, I just learned about this today. As an American, I am really touched by this and it shows what a classy lady the Queen really was. It’s the 21st anniversary of the WTC attacks and this, watching the Queen being brought home from Scotland and the declaring Charles as King throughout the UK is almost too much to take in at one time. My heart breaks for her family and my sincere condolences to the people of the UK. May God Bless The Queen and God Save The King. 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Great Britain is where many of the American citizens ancestors originated from: Thank you Britan, so many precious hearts in our European Mother land: I can still see men jumping to their deaths from the StateTower windows, choosing to jump, than dieing from the raging furnal flames. Jehovah God, bless America, and God bless all the Europeans!
Part of your country seems to have a problem playing your own national anthem. I could only imagine the meltdown that would trigger if you guys played ours. 🇬🇧
We love America. Without it we would have been defeated in the Second World War. We stood together and we will stand together again but not with that tosser in the White House We miss the real President. Love from the UK
@@normanwilson8246we won’t have been defeated we just won Battle of Britain and Germany backed off to deal with other threats sure they helped lots but the war would have been lost without Russia we could have still won without usa but it’s increasingly more difficult

I'm in my high school's marching band, and we need to play the national anthem for football games, and other events. The national anthem has never brought tears to my eyes. This did it. To hear that the queen herself requested her band play the national anthem for the anniversary of 9/11, breaks me.
as Red Green would say, "We're all in this together." The British are masters at paying respect where respect is warranted, I would like to think the United States would do the same for them.
@@zerocool5395 Trump actually contacted the gold star families that lost the 13 loved ones. He has my respect. He was also invited to some of the funerals.
You know, it's crazy to think that when this country was first starting out we hated each other and went to war over the land, now we both respect each other and are some of the closest allies, it just shows that people and times change,
There wasn’t that much hatred. The battles during the revolutionary war were far less gruesome than Britain’s wars with France and there was several examples of the winning side in battles showing lots of mercy on the losing side.
Thank you Great Britain for showing our country more honor than its current leaders. And not only are they playing our National Anthem, they have their hands over their hearts!
Love from America! Thank you good chaps! God Save the Queen! Regards, an Anglophiliac American (who happens to have an ancester buried in Westminster Abbey).
When this first happened, it was the Queen who allowed tradition to be broken, and had another nations's anthem played on the grounds of Buckingham Palace in tribute to all those lost. Truly a great woman, and a great Monarch. Rest in peace, Queen Elizabeth II.
