“Why is losing everything when you die a trend?” I’m wondering about this too. Half of the time it feels like a cheap way to extend playtime by forcing players to regain their equipment.
For much of my life, I had no friends. No real ones, anyway. Then I met one. Then I met some more. This isn't a brag or anything, just be your best self and find people who get you and care about others; it may take years, but quality over quantity, mm? When you get seriously ill or have the worst depressive dip of your life, you don't want some prick who'll just go "o rite suuuuuccckkkkzzzzz neway g2g l8r lol"...
"Oop, the voice chat works, I'm out of here" A man after my own heart! (whether or not it was actually just some weird voice lines the characters had, the reaction is real, and on point)
Feels like this game would be a lot better with just 2 changes: 1: Have a basic starter loadout. Doesn't need to be good, just something that gives you a chance to survive if your first encounter isn't just one guy. 2: A belt or something. Picking up something that isn't a weapon shouldn't instantly make you drop all your weapons.
Load out is unnecessary, the punches are pretty good and teamwork can get you far with nothing, a belt however should totally be a thing, it's a little janky having to pick up a potion and then find and pick your weapon back up instead of just having a potion slot
