The most delicious dessert I may have ever made! While this calls for a juice concentrate you may not have access to, try it with other juice concentrates. It is lovely and refreshing!
Crust:
1-1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Filling:
2 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese
4 Tbsp. guava concentrate
1-1/2 c. powdered sugar (sifted)
2 c. whipping cream or cool whip
Topping:
1 can (12 oz.) guava concentrate
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
Mix ingredients for crust and press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool.
Combine cream cheese, guava concentrate and powdered sugar.
Whip cream and fold into cream cheese mixture. Spoon into crust and chill.
Prepare topping by bringing guava concentrate to a boil. Combine water and cornstarch and stir into guava concentrate. Simmer until thick and clear. Cool. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Chill.
