It is very funny that when Michele showed his first Gucci collection, an avanlanche of criticisms from everyone. NOW, everyone is copying. LMFAO. Even those who voiced their hate, want to wear Gucci again.
I think fashion should be a elicit reactions of "Yes, this is inspiring and I want to wear this." to "Holy dildos in space, what the fuck is that." Otherwise, if the strange were turned to the mediocre, there would be ZERO progress in fashion. Thats what I think.
Perhaps it's because it takes us back to our high school years in the 70's when I saved all my working money and bought Betsey Johnson, Willi Smith and Young Edwardian clothing .... and now I get to buy the clothing again but from a different designer....love it!
seriously Guys ,if you don't like it then don't watch it ,why do you assume that ALL people wears Normal/casual clothes??! casual outfits are EVERYWHERE ,you can find them anywhere ! i am glad that Alessandro is designing like this ,this decade is boring "fashion wise" nothing bold or crazy ,our parents and grandparents looks more interesting in their young days more than we do ,so crazy and outgoing .. Alessandro recreated the 70s and Edwardian women fashion but in a wacky bubbly way ,if you don't like it then its okay but stop spreading negativity and hate ! i love this collection ,i would wear every outfit with crazy makeup and crazier hair ! Alessandro has to switch the vibe a little ,i hope he won't do the same thing season after season like how other brands does, his collections are starting to look similar ! anyway, his creations looks awesome ..
There's something quite perverse about this collection. Like how a person had gone slightly deranged locked in a dark room for years with beauty derived from only one's darkest imagination and out it appears - things that don't go nor make sense suddenly feels possible and new.
Simply Heaven and Divine. Allesandro keeps Fashion alive. Bravo!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Pure Euphoria. The most copied Brand by other major Brands. FataleFashionlll is the best! Thank you for sharing this amazing collection.
Some of the clothes maybe be a bit costumey to wear but most of the dresses look gorgeous. The styling is too heavy though I always like how they style each models differently, not same hair, same accessories like other houses which is a breath of fresh air. The presentation itself is amazing. I feel like in different era, so so emotional. The poem reading by Florence Welch (cmiiw) ties it all. Bravo, Alessandro
Even if this wasn't my favourite Alessandro's colection for Gucci, I think he is just an amazing designer and artist. The "mental" process was simply amazing, the way that you can be taken to Japan just seeing clothing. During this show, I traveled to Harajuku, seeing the gothic lolitas, lolitas, alternative people from there, but also all the japanese tradition in prints and fans. Fashion needs more designers who are not afraid of trying new things.
To me it feels like a stylized version of how we would look to the gods, if they exist. Inside a wormhole, all times mixed and wondrously garbled. The music adds to this impression, layering an additional meaning of fashion as the armor that's carried/carrying/will carry us through time.
Haha nope! Fashion stops for no one! Hahaha. But Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, made a very spiteful choice for one of recent collections in order for everyone to see the clothes, which was one of his biggest complaints at his shows, and make everyone front row, and the models stop and all of that, the models have to walk faster than usual or the show would be so over scheduled! It was a statement about mass production and every having access to the "it" items 😂😂
No, not really. 1. Posing on the runway can break the fluidity of just walking. 2. It's slightly outdated and most shows are now using complicated runway patterns that don't allow for posing. 3. And most importantly of all, it time consuming and unnecessary.
Givenchy is my favorite brand, I am sort of biased and love everything that Ricardo creates, but just woooow 😱💘 Alessandro is phenomenal. He turned Gucci from tacky to awesome (in my opinion). He was a change that Gucci desperately needed. (sorry for bad English)
GLORIOUS PARADE OF FREAKS!!!!, this is marc jacobs for louis vuitton all over again. stunning, unapologetic, sure of itself, a little scandalous and a little weird. Finally some art back to the runway. A great nod to the extravagant shows of our recent past.
i miss the class, chic, elegance of the Tom Ford and Frida's Gucci ... I wont deny this new guy has some hits on this collection but this is the third collection that is see and all remind me of a weird 70´s or 80´s movie or sitcom. The new Gucci tennis shoes are awesome though!!
Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing collection. One just needs to look at every piece individually and you have to know how to edit and take it from runway to reality.
Thank these people who don't like this seem to think you have to wear it the way its shown on the runway, no i would mix it with something more sombre. Case in point Rihanna in the Saint Laurant red heart fur, with cutoffs a trucker cap and high heeled sandals genius.
Fantástico. Ya que pierdes el tiempo en ver un fashion show, por lo menos que te transporte a un mundo diferente, para ver cositas normales ya está la fashion week de Madrid
Exactly, it is William Blake and the poems of his. More precisely as follows: 1) Night; 2) My Pretty Rose Tree; 3) Ah! Sun-flower; 4) The Lilly; 5) The Garden of Love; and then 2+6) My Pretty Rose tree again :)
I love the stories Alessandro pieces convey. I can see the house, the parents, the upbringing, etc. the person who wears these clothes had. Its scary yet intriguing.
gucci is art , i love every pice of collection , the cacartertistic thing is the diversity , the power of color and imagination , something that you don´t found in any place , only alessandro can do that ...
