This entire fashion show is a Futuristic Spain themed prom set in an alternate future where Japan won WWII, happening in a high school gym in Tusla OK in 1971
umm, I'm pretty sure the collection has Chinese influence not Japanese. The hand fans, dragon and tiger symbolism (comes from yin and yang), mandarin collars, knot buttons and even some of the embroidery is Chinese influence.
There is way too much to unpack in this show. I laughed, I was stunned, charmed, horrified and impressed. Its like if Sophia Coppola and Wes Anderson created a baby who became an Italian designer. I kinda love it.
Ils ont mis trop de fumée ou la lumière est atroce, défilé raté car on y voit rien, comme souvent chez gucci, c'est le cas aussi pour le défilé hiver, des mannequins qui défilent trop vite. On y voit rien. Je ne sais pas qui est le chorégraphe mais c'est toujours raté pour ça les défilés gucci ! De plus, contrairement à ce que dit lagarfeld, un mannequin est loin d'être un porte manteau, car certains mannequins arrivent à avoir du style et d'autres ont l'air déguisé. Je trouve que gucci ne choisit pas toujours bien ses mannequins, certains ont l'air d'aller tout droit à une soirée déguisée, alors que d'autres (très rares) arrivent à incarner le style gucci.
Seriously: is that GUCCI? Is this a joke? Dont come with bullshit fashionista. All the couture brands are lacking of creativity and starting to look the same. The uniqueness is confused with uglyness and the sense of elegance is gone. Will you ever pay thousand of euros for a shirt with a tiger print because it is GUCCI? What will be the difference between that and one of ZARA? Just the price! And that it says GUCCI in the label. The couture brands like Saint Lauren, Lanvin, Chanel, Dior...they use to be know for that: COUTURE. Not anymore... Fashion is dead!
