I honestly immediately thought of the Dior Homme line, I suppose specifically Parfum, when I sniffed the bottle at Saks, I’m really interested to try this one on skin, my wife had the same immediate reaction that it was in the realm of Dior Homme Parfum, however now reading your blotter update I can tell that it must be tried on skin, thank you for the great review as usual 👌🏻
I love this so much, but it's waaay too expensive for what it is and is only available in minimum 100ml bottles. Luckily, my local Guerlain store gave me two free 2ml samples of this and I already had a half-empty one, so 5ml of it to last through the upcoming spring yaayy! and then I think I would restock on free samples again if I have the chance🙈
Czesc, does this fragrance have anything in common with Iris Ganache? Also, I could have sworn there was a similar composition among the Hermessences, but if it was, it seems to be discontinued now.
Obviously, they share an iris note, but I would say that no, this one is quite different. Ganache very openly (and beautifully) went down the calorific-gourmand route. Torrefie is more interested in clashes with the coffee and violet notes.
Lovely Jicky is an Oriental Fougère, I have never heard of or come across a really similar scent. However you could look into the lavender vanilla combination and try Caron "Pour un Homme" or Chanel's "Jersey". A very elegant and more masculine continuation of Jicky is "Mouchoir de Monsieur" from 1904 by Guerlain. Enjoy the journey.

This collection is great (if pricey) and especially Angelique Noire and Bois d’Armenie are favourites for me. You should try them!
