Though Kerala is inside India , the living standards are comparable with Thailand & Indonesia . We don't think we are even miles closer to Europe but surely we are working towards it .

We spend our resources on the people, to cater to their well-being like hospitals and schools. The reason for the success story is corruption is very less compared to other states, especially under the LDF government. The state is blessed with abundant water, and there are 42 rivers in addition to rivulets and streams. Water is available almost everywhere a well is dug. Hence, people are clean and also maintain their surroundings clean. The people of Kerala don't tolerate any kind of poverty and are always ready to help their fellow human beings without any discrimination based on religion or caste. In fact, this unity is the basis of the progress of Kerala. And people of Kerala are simple and do not believe in any extravagance. The aim of every Keralite is to own a good house and a vehicle.
@@AdyantMumma Great insights. No need for comparison, every state has their positives and negatives. But people should appreciate what they see, few people from the north do. They come up with some sorry excuses like "Ribbon Development" as I see mentioned here. Basic infrastructure and amenities is a right for every citizen not just for the elites in villages like in the north or just centered around the metro cities. But then we also have our own problems for e.g. lack of industrial development. Also to remark upon your frequent mention of "Greenery", you should also know Kerala's climate is unlike the dry arid climate as in Tamil Nadu, Andhra or other northern states. Because of the abundant rain and the fertile soil, your own backyard can grow back into a forest !!! You have tend to it and do weeding regularly, which is also cumbersome and expensive. So ups and downs everywhere. Enjoy your stay. Spread the good word and educate, we're more than just beef eaters.

We shouldn’t regard Europe as the norm and standard. We should make our own standards. I’m happy the way my Kerala is now, in spite of its imperfections.

Good to watch your videos and your love about Kerala and its nature. Kerala has it's own style of house models and they are quite modern in terms with rest of India specially North India. Due to the progressive thinking and culture people are aware about laws and rights. Still lot to be improved.
Absolutely right dear, i compare everything from state and found Kerala much ahead in almost all respect like infrastructure, medical, schools roads, most importantly progressive mind set of people, I really love ❤️God's own country
As a Malayalee it is flattering to get praises from visitors, but there are many reasons for things being the way they are elsewhere and why they are different here. This is firstly a new road, and up until the recent past the roads in Kerala were of poor quality, now thanks to new tech, renovated roads are of better quality. It looks clean because of the rainfall the state receives throughout the year, helps clean the roads often and promote greenery. Unlike larger states, Kerala is very dense and roads are narrow, so this helps in maintaining exisiting roads as compared to other states with a less dense system. Finally Kerala has high percentage of the population abroad or away from Kerala which sort of reduces the rush/ traffic impact on the roadways. Giving it an impression of being more free. Kerala almost 95% of all roads are well maintained. Compared to North Indian states which has only highways maintained. All other roads including city roads are good for off roading 🤪 Realised this only after living outside Kerala for a few years
All your statements are wrong. 1) Kerala is clean because people don't litter like other states. The whole state is extremely clean and when you see any other part of India you'll find cows, sewage, some wet wastes and garbage and litter around you. Which you might rarely see anywhere across the state. 2) Rain is not just a phenomenon in Kerala. It happens across India. Kerala only get its first. 3) Kerala is infact the most densely populated state. Weather people work abroad or not is irrelevant since this density is of the people who actually stay in Kerala. 4)Kerala has a lot more connectivity across the state. You can get a bus or ride from any remote part of Kerala compared to other states where the Reid networks are not densely connected. 5) all states have narrow roads except the highways. I have been driving in and out of Kerala for decades and Kerala roads were always well maintained. Its usually narrow because Kerala is densely populated and there's no space but still there are a lot of roads to make up for that and as said befor ethey have always been well maintained (not because they're new)

This video evokes the faded memories of my College days. I studied in the NSS College at Pandalam. The familiar way that leads from Pandalam to Adoor, where I used to go for watching movies sometimes, of course cutting the classes 😊 Thanks for the video. Are you staying somewhere near that place? To my astonishment, the Mavelikkara Government Hospital in the end. My Mother worked at that Hospital for many years and Mavelikkara is my home town where I born and brought up. One thing I would like to stress as a keralite to other keralites is to stay humble. We have a lot of work to do regarding illegal mining/deforestation, waste management especially plastic management (which is a problem in "Europe" also 😉), excess use of damaging fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides and air quality. There are solutions to this and many panchayats are trying hard to implement practical solutions so let's help out. Solve problems in our local communities, build a healthy, rewarding and happy space for not just us but for generations to come. :) Proud to be Keralite, proud to be Indian.
Kerala is too beautiful and unlike the rest of India the people are very good and interactive unlike Northern India which is the worst place for someone looking for settlement or job.
