Several of these surprised me because I had never heard there would be such a concerto. Like tympany, does not seem like much of a candidate. And harmonica? It's not that I don't know what one sounds like, only that I had not thought it would be a symphonic soloist. It was fun.

14/15 - guessed Lute when it was Mandolin, although now I can hear they are very different. Only knew the composer/piece for the piano.

An excellent result for concerts, but the composers in this quiz are very difficult to guess, except Schumann, of course. The trio of guitar, lute, mandolin confused many listeners))

Yes and no. If you're just guessing based on the instrument featured, okay, but it's far less easy if you're also naming the composer (true, a few are immediately recognizable, such as Bach & Mozart, but others, like Kraft & Weiss, not so much).

14/15, mistook guitar and Lute. By the way, the remark about the trumpet is a misconception, you don't need more air for a piccolo trumpet.

Interesting: I made exactly the same mistake, thinking the guitar was the lute! I got all the others, though I only picked three composers correctly.
