My biggest embarrassment was thinking in another quiz of combined Zelda songs, I somehow thought “Groose’s theme” in Skyward Sword was the Windwaker “Pirates theme”. Definitely gonna dig this out to play again.
I got most of them right. That’s bad considering Wind Waker is my favorite Zelda game. I should know ALL of them. 😓 In my defense about the outside of Forest Haven, almost every playthrough of the game, be it the original or HD, I almost always got to it at night where there’s no music playing.
Missed one easy, six medium, four hard. Only got two bonus coins unlike the ocarina games where I got them all. I did get the Puppet Ganon form right. Bonus theme is the Ganon's Tower maze.
Only one I missed of the easy songs was getting thrown into the cell at the Forsaken Fortress, I never got caught so I never heard it 😂 Reverse skill issue
Great video, got almost all of them. If you're still looking for suggestions, I'd love to see guess the Zelda character based on their theme, as I feel Zelda more than any other Nintendo property has so many memorable character themes like Zelda, Groose, and Byrne, I feel like there's so many to choose from. Also, a Zelda boss music quiz would be great. Whether that's guess the game based on the boss theme or guess the boss from their theme to use more of the unique themes, or maybe even both. Either way, great job and I look forward to seeing more.
Alrighty, so: All 20 easy stars. 28 of the medium stars. I completely missed the Dragon Roost boss, and somehow forgot Puppet Ganon's unique "defeat" music. Surprisingly, I got the correct variation of Farewell Hyrule King. 8 of the Hard Stars. I don't even know how I didn't remember the Deku Tree, but I guess that's why it's a hard star. And I probably said Jabu Jabu like 6 times to myself for Jabun's theme. Similar names, but that does not earn a star. And while I did say Worm Form for Puppet Ganon, I did know the form and phase, so, star, right? And only 3 coins. I couldn't name Command Melody, forgot it was Earth God's 'lyric', I kept saying song, and instead of Song of Passing, I just said Sun's Song, making that 2 times I swapped Ocarina things with Wind Waker. And I could only guess that the last music is Link going through the trials in Ganon's tower, but I kinda somehow doubt it. Man, loved this game so much as a kid. I so desperately want another copy to playthrough it again. Thank you for the good memory trip.
You’re not far off. It’s the part where you fight the phantom ganons, then the sword falls in the direction of the door you open. The section you get the light arrows and have fun playing with the giant black sword.
Thanks for making these quizzes! Wind Waker was one of my favorite games as a kid. I managed to get all of them right except: #22 - Recognized it as a "get item" theme, but guessed Triforce shard. Surprised I didn't get it, since it's been the same theme for almost every game in the series. #25 - Thought it was the song of passage. Kinda dissapointed about this one, given how ofen you hear this theme. #36 - I recognized the song, but couldn't remember where it was used. Tough one. #37 - Thought it was the Wind Temple. I bet if I had heard Wind Temple first, I would've gotten this. #47 - Thought it was below decks on the pirate ship. #54 - Sounded boss-y, but couldn't pinpoint it. #55 - Didn't remember this one at all. Also, #61 is the Ganon's Castle maze theme, where you have to pick the right doors to find Phantom Ganon. 54/61 isn't bad at all!
Only missed question 47. It's really embarrassing cause i was literally singing along to it. Got all the bonus coins, and i know the bonus song. It's the maze at the end of ganons tower where you fight Phantom ganon and get the light arrows. Wind waker is my 2nd favorite zelda behind Links Awakening
I got every single one correct, I did stumble on heart container and cave theme but I got them in time! No coins though. Also, the last song is the area where you fight the phantom gannons in gannons tower. Tower part 2 you could say. Not during the fight! Just switching between rooms.
So i got one wrong. I accidentally said Kalle Demos instead of Gohma. I got 4 of the coins as I forgot the names of Earth God's Aria (was calling it Earth God's ballad) and the Command Melody. And as for the last one. Thats the penultimate part of Ganon's tower. Like when you have to fight the Phantom Ganons and follow the fallen sword to the next part. I cant remember the name of it.
FINALLY, 100% on one of these! 61 stars, 6 coins! (Final song is Ascending Ganon's Tower Following the Boss Rush) I guess spending hundreds of childhood hours on the game, dozens of adulthood hours on randomizers and regularly listening to the entire OST at work for the past 10 years has finally paid off! Honestly, I was hoping your bonus hard question was going to be the music you hear in the title screen demo. THAT would have been truly "hard"!
