When athletes trained tirelessly and achieve you people stay in a corner and calculate their earnings and turned around and bad mind them no wonder Bolt was fleeced of his cash
Yes my brother, they don't like it. They always watching Jamaicans, as if we shouldn't have money. They shouldn't allowed to do this , they 're , bating up these people. Look how hard these people work. Now checking what they got .
I'm not Jamaican... But I'm 100% sure Andre Russell got more money than most of these guys. His earnings from the IPL per season is around USD 1mil.... He's been playing in it for over 10 seasons. Plus his earnings from CPL, WI and the other leagues around the world... I think all earnings by athletes are tax free too... Well in most Caribbean countries.
Do you also have a list of the greatest Jamaican inventors, academically achieved and innovators? We spend so much time about money, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Let us start thinking about how we can embrace and encourage our young children to be innovative and discover things and be inventors so that they live on in history. You are setting up these people as targets for thieves. Yes, they can aspire to be athletes, but we don't need to hear their wealth. Also, share how much energy and time they sacrificed for their achievements. Are you sharing your wealth? Their wealth is nobody's business.
@kealarmstrong7136 My life is too fruitful to watch people's lives. The answer to my question is NO. We no longer produce innovators or academia. That's why we try to showcase athletes and artistes who have no generational legacy except for themselves and their families, and some don't even embrace Jamaica as their country. We have produced myriads of LIQ'S since the late 80s and seem not to have any idea how to encourage greatness from our young kids. Try reading a book on GREAT JAMAICANS prior to the 80s. We are a non-producing/unproductive country, only consumers of other countries' products. There are successful intellectual kids/people in all parts of the world; why not us? Please Google Dorothy Jean Tillman for a start.
How does a man turn his back on Jamaica?? His parents made the decision to relocate to the United States when Patrick was a young teenager (13 years old). He followed the trajectory of his life (education, career path) as his destiny! Did he become an American citizen? Yes!! Did he play basketball for the United States? Yes!!! (I haven't ever heard of a Jamaican basketball team yet)! But everywhere his story is told, Patrick Ewing was born in Jamaica! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
Did you really research it all? Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce would definitely be above a lot of the mentioned with about 6 Million USD. If Patrick Ewing is mentioned, Lennox Lewis who actually lives in Jamaica would be number 1 with about 140 million USD
Ammmmmm, Hello!!! Dr. Trisha Bailey is considered the richest female Jamaican athlete. Bailey, a former UConn Huskies student athlete, is an entrepreneur who built a medical supply business in Orlando, Florida into a seven-state empire. As of August 2023, Bailey's net worth was reported to be at least $700 million
Take these estimates with a pinch of salt 😂 how do they know how much money these athletes have? Do they have access to their bank accounts? Absolute rubbish, utter nonsense.
Earning money and maintaining it are two different things. Really wealthy people do not keep their earnings as cash in bank. They INVEST it and the value of investments is what can be quantified.
Wow, Shelley-Ann, being one of the greatest female sprinters of all time, should consult with Usain. Surprisingly, why didn't she make this list of richest Jamaican athletes?
😝Why do we need to be informed of their earnings. Can’t you find a proper job? Some of their personal details are incorrect… no doubt the sum given as their Worth is also false.
@@clarkkent7130 come on bro dont even mention dem Patrick Ewing sneakers with the 33 pon it and di orange basketball. Mi did get my own from Canada when mi did in a grade 3 a go pembroke hall primary🫡
I will never forget when the NY Knicks beat the Pacers to get to 1994 NBA finals. Ewing jumped onto the scorers desk at MSG and shout out “Big Up All Yard Man” 😅😊😅😊
@@playdough10 he really did dat shit? I really need to see it! Cant believe all this seems new to me about Patrick Ewing. Mi grew up cheering for Indiana Pacers because i loved Reggie Miller for how humble and talented he was.
@@thelivekatcher666 so I guess you remember when the Reggie Miller Pistol whip the Knicks with 6sec to go after Spike Lee taunting. Or, in the 1993 series when John Starks head butt Reggie. lol. Those days with the Pacer, Houston and The Bulls were the best as a Knick fan. Filled with lots of heartaches as well.
Usain Bolt and Patrick Ewing has made millions in selling shoes and clothing.... The others athletes spend off all their money in houses and motor cars.
😂😂Leon Bailey sign for 30 million pounds in 2021 just renew a contract not even a month ago so he must be worth way more than 25mil US and he was playing for two clubs before moving back to to England from Germany lol
And if it was of Jamaican descent it would be Lennox Lewis 140M, Dont see ShellyAnn at about 5M. Also I dont think Ewing Networth is that low in 2023 he was estimated at 100M. Michail Antoinio isn't worth less than £9M. Sanya Richards Ross is at about $2.5M as one of the USA greatest 400m athlete in USA. Nick Richards Charlotte Hornets is about $10M after signing 15M contract.
What does ppls achievement and riches have to do w/anybody thats their private affairs it should been announced like this just ppls live their lives and dont get up into their business like this kmt
