Yeah, that was the one where Henry's pod got broken early. Ziggler had to direct traffic in the middle of the match. Then they also had a weird booked spot of Sheamus' pod not opening, which would've been fine if the match went as planned, but because of the pod break earlier in the match, it made the match even dumber. Also happened on the same night as Owens VS Cena 1 and the Tag Team Chamber match, far better matches.

But Jake Hager does have a 5 star match 🤦🏼‍♂️

If he wrestled Benoit in NJPW at the Tokyo Dome, Meltzer would've blew a load over it.

I was retro watching the DIY/Revival Takeover matches not too long ago, that triple threat is underrated. Marked out when they paired up and did the other teams’s moves to AOP

I don't like Meltzer and his dumb star system, but I see it with a lot of fans. They crap on great matches and seem sometimes to like matches that weren't that great, too. The word of the day seems to be "subjective". wrestling is subjective I guess. But, a lot of WWE stuff never got five stars, that were great matches.

@@Bayley4ever he also disrespects the women's matches because they won't give him the time of day and interact with him the only reason he likes Joshua pro wrestling is because the women over there are proper and polite to all men because that's kind of how they're raised to be so that's the only reason he banners that flag because they're nice to him while the American women don't like him at all.

You realize a large part of the show is making fun of a lot of Meltzer's stereotypical opinions, right? A large part of this episode is making fun of the fact he didn't give some of the best NXT matches of that era 5 stars when they clearly deserved it. If all they were doing was talking about how he was right on everything, I'd understand this comment but you clearly didn't watch the video and just responded to the title.

@@zakk219 actually I watch the whole video because I love Steven and Larson they make me laugh at it but I just hate him and I hate anything about him I also want to give Steve and Larson the credit for the content so watching their video helps their algorithm but I still hate the guy.

@@anthonyr8906 Why not spend your time doing something other than worrying about Dave Meltzer? I couldn't imagine hating someone who I never met and doesn't impact my life in any way so much that I go to random comment sections to complain about them. If you like watching Steve and Larson, they've been doing this show for a while and you should know what it is. If you don't like the video's contents and know it's going to frustrate you, don't watch it. Spend your time and energy on something you like instead.
