I always have individual sealed packs of stomach medication, eye drops, and pain killers as well as feminine hygiene. I have an odd digestive system which acts up when I travel so I always make sure there is extra in case someone has the same issue. Yes! Blankets! Being cold when a guest is miserable. I’ve had that happen and slept in my clothes. I do a hot water bottle, heater in winter (fan in summer), and I use a blanket box which has extra pillows and blankets and doubles as a luggage rack. Also a few empty coat hangers, pen and notepad, and a few (sterilised) cosmetic items like nail clippers, hair ties, and some hair pins. Seriously that stuff is so cheap. Also I don’t do a bottle of water but I do provide glasses for the bedside and a filter jug (you can get really nice ones). Better for the environment and doesn’t run out. Love the slippers idea! Such a lovely idea. A few spears toothbrushes around is also useful in case someone forgets theirs.

Yeah I've always been a bit extra and then I watch videos like this and add even more. Seriously will now be adding slippers for family who visit regularly. LOL. Sad part is the last couple of years I couldn't do anything because of darn covid. I just like making people happy and really hate being away from home so I try to give people the things I've always wanted when away.

Awesome ideas! I personally have no room left in "the Inn" lol. However, when i stayed with my sister there was a bed & a table & a Tv (privacy time) time to chill before bed..they like their space by a certain time & im not an early to bed girl sooo. Thats where it ended. I helped her unpack boxes since a few months prior they had just moved. She had it very nice & an extra chair in the living room she kept covered with a removeable blanket due to kitty cats! Also nice. My sister admittedly isnt a perfect Hostess let alone over the top. She did pick up extra things i might like for breakfast or snacks. Which again appreciated. However never told me she bought yogurt & apples for me. Never offered them lol. Anyway. I love my sister so so much so, learned tho to in the future i may want to stay in a motel (long story & personal) sooo enjoyable that you have room for parents & aunt & uncle wow. Very cool! I’d have liked some visuals too, but I think she did an adequate job talking. She was pleasant; I get what she’s saying. Maybe a few more links to more example items/furniture (though she provided some of the more crucial links), but part of the fun is customizing things yourself.
