Just started Path of Diablo (after finishing my PoE league goals) and found this. TY for the guide. I love Amazons and never really played them as much as Necro/Pala/Barb, but now is the time :) God, this game is a masterpiece!

I made a javazon on my plugy some week ago. My god. She´s a goddess of sanctuary. Of course being an inexperienced player.... it takes time but from level 40-50 took like 2 hours. I was impressed. Now, of course, my sorceress had done the hard work of farming the grail stuff/runes so it was easier. But within my own account - sharing is caring.

I use up'ed Mosers with 2x 15 ias jools for high attack speed, very important!

Really loving the guides. Quick question: in terms of MF runs, how would a javazon compare to say, a blizz sorc or hammerdin? I want a main that can carry me through hell and get me finding that sweet loot. Your channel is getting me back into D2 and I haven’t played in 10+ years.

Currently I'm running Ancient's Pledge for resistances and Insight on merc. Thoughts? I don't want to be chugging mana potions again but if there's better alternatives that don't make the mana consumption so heavy, I'm down for it.

Won’t this get roflstomped in later difficulties when lightning immune snobs show up?

I feel like bowmazon was easier and then later on switch/reset to javelin when you have enough points or when you get lightning fury. Also one point in slow missiles was game changing when you have ranged enemies in a tight space

Can you show a maxed out Javazon please? I want to see the best build on the offensive side. Show max on each char regardless of equipment cost. I see a lot of guides using budget gears and items and i hold on to those not knowing i have better. Wanting to be a softdev too :D

Hello Mr. LamaSC i enjoy watching your D2 Material - and this video guide about my beloved Javazon is amazing - i replay D2 right now and struggeling about the Merc i use to support my beloved Valkyrie - she can tank all and everyhting but needs the dmg of the Act2 Merc i use (he is Def Aura) but he pretty dies a lot here in hell so can you please help me to find the best gear? I got Crown of Thiefes or Guillaumes Face and using a Treachery Armor but i lack the Polearm ... got only a Woestave which seems to work pretty solid on thrash mobs ... but what is your recommandation?

I used Bloodfist gloves from lvl 9 to 81 I think, before I managed to craft a 20ias lifeleech gloves. They are good so keep them if found.

Can someone explain why you cant miss as a javazon? Or am i not understanding correctly? Dont you need dex for attack ratng? Or why does the abilities not need it? I have never used a amazon ever so I dont know the class. But a friend of mine is Rolling one and I want to be able to help him out.

Looks like you haven't tried rabbies druid. One bite clears entire cow farm. I want to see a javazon do that! :D

You have any suggestion for a shield runword if you dont find stormshields etc and if you are not a ladder character so Spirit is out of the equation? What would be a good chest/ shield runeword combination?

You completely missed the lightning immune monsters. How do you deal with them? Especially if you can't avoid them in Quests.

It looks like you don't max Lightening Strike and Lightening Bolt, but I can't tell how many points were puts in cause of the skill boost.

silkweave boots are good for mana per kill imo

Hello. Just one question on Javazon. Does a Javazon build consumes the weapon after using Lightning fury/Charged Strike? I mean Do those skilles work like through weapon? Thank you.

Would it be optimal to have T-Stroke on weapon switch for boss fights, and titan for normal clearing?

Just getting into some D2 endgame for the first time and chose a Javazon, and I have 1 question... How would you repair an ethereal titan's revenge? Or does it somehow replenish fast enough to not warrant repairs? Could someone please explain this to me, thanks!

i run mine with Uped E titan + Phoenix, Coh, Raven frost, 1 20str ring with other mods, for the Phoenix with 156 Str Req, Thunder God, Grif Eye, Eth Treks, High lords ammy, on merc E-fort Gulliums helm and Infinity cv, i run this char in hell Chaos in HardCore, but i have not run 1 the last season, spending my time in PoE

Eth titans all day, id even consider switching out that diadem for Andy's and just running Andy's fort infinity on your merc and just cruise through. The extra damage you lose ends up being so miniscule compared to what you can get with skillers plus torch and anni. You end up with 100 pierce just with a point into penetration and the razortail.

Hey stud! I just started hell, found a manald heal I think it's called in nitemare and some silkweaves as well. I have better options but those keep my mana very healthy. I am running into so many light immune issues, is infinity the only way to break that? Will the -light on griffons break light immunes? Not sure what to do so I invested a bunch of points into freezing arrow and found a kuku shakuko but it takes a full mana bar to kill a few enemies. Getting frustrated!

How do you get ammunition for javelins? If a javelin stack drops then do I only have the amount that is on that stack or is there a way to increase the ammo other than that exact stack with those exact stats dropping again? (not gonna happen obviously)

Hello llama ! Im actualy runing a javazone aswell and i just hit hell, impossible te get pass act 2 cause almost everything is lightning immune ( scarabs etc..) is it worth it for me to respec into full valk and finish hell like this then spec back to lightning Ama ?

How to get all those nice Items? All gambled?

I prefer cat's eye amulet over highlord's on an Amazon for that nice faster run/walk. As for boots, I would say silkweaves. As for rings, nothing beats a ravenfrost and a manald heal for some juicy mana leech. I also like to use enigma on javazon, not even for the teleport, but mostly for the added faster run/walk.

What merc should I use on this build (if any)?

I know this video is old, but with D2R coming out in a couple weeks and how important Cow runs will be (since there is no Cow King kill penalty in D2R), I want to point out that this build doesn't have enough mana leech, I mean at all. You want your Cow runner to be completely mana self-sufficient. You only need enough fury damage to tip those cows over once you have pierce, and don't need to sacrifice mana leech or mana after kills for + skills. Vampire Gaze is an old school answer to that with dual leech damage reduction etc. Sure you could use her on Baal, but with no teleport (enigma), there are other more efficient Baal runners (hdin). My main point is that if you are going to be a Javazon, if you are constantly eating mana pots or running low on mana, your build needs adjusting. Good video for the basics though.

Llama, what do you think about Knockback gloves for Javazon? In my opinion, they are useful when throwing a javelin and ,with pierce, having a chance to knockback enemies and doing a great amount of damage. Same with Charge Strike - Knockback and instant kill, but can't Pierce. I know that 2/20 Knockback Java Gloves are expensive, but Cleglaw gloves are cheap. Let me know about this opinion and what do you think about knockback and pierce with Lightning Fury. :)

Lol, started a Javazon as the first serious char to get somewhere. Level 34, running around nm act 1 (yes, i am a noob of sorts... please have patience. Well this thing was meant to be: Found Razortail off normal Baal i think. As i am german and play the german version of the game (can't change that easily), i didn't immediately notice "Klingenschweif" as being "Razortail". Luckily i held on to it and didn't sell it bc i didn't notice what it was. Whoa.

Yes, Valk can solo the entire game on HC 8ppl and with 100% clearing locations. MadMax IIRC did this with only cracked/low quality equipment. Took some time, but maxed out Valk with a good roll beats Fana Ancients. Or was it Might? Also, eth Titans < Titans. One stack clears cow level alright, but then you have to repair.

I've being try to get this build working. Early days (level 14) I'm struggling with mana management. Any ideas or just push through and it sorts itself out?

Hello Mr LlamaSC. Im building a Javazone since i saw your video: lets play Amazone. I have to say im pretty happy with my Amazone so far altough im struggling actually in hell. Im lvl 84 and i dont manage to drop good stuff for her. I droped a lot for paladin necro barbarian druid. Well everything but Amazone. I dont understand when you say Valkyrie can solo hell. She is very tough but has not very good damage. Maybe because my stuff suxx specially my javelin. At least she helped me a lot to kill the ancient. The worst thing about Valkyrie is her ia which is terrible. I also strugle a lot with Lightning enchanted monsters. And there are a lot of them. I think im about to play a sorceress because i definitely need something to farm Mephisto faster. Javazone can be really satisfying when i wipe mass monsters out but can also be very frustrating against light enchanted. I see you soon on your video: lets play sorceress:p.
