I think Doug is the only Cobra Verde member in this particular lineup. They were on Mag Earwhig and the subsequent tour but Bob fired them after that, with the exception of Doug.
@@indieguy81 sorry it wasnt a critic about you, i was trying to point out that being a band witch such a dense career to know all the facts is almost like study ancient history. BTW what is the tittle on the biography?
@@Braulios_Penesecou I'm actually reading a second one now (because I'm a total fanboy nerd), but it's called Closer You Are by Matthew Cutter. The first one I read is called Guided by Voices: A Brief History, 21 Years of Hunting Accidents in the Forests of Rock and Roll. Jim Greer wrote that one and he spent some time as their bass player in the mid 90s. But they're both excellent books and I highly recommend them! Lots of entertaining stories, and they give an intimate window into Bob's creative and personal life.
God anyone else remember when Austin used to have great bands and artists on it? Now the druggies and homeless and junkies have taken over with tractor Rape geeeez
people like you are turning Austin into a glass-tower Google city with no character and no dignity. homeless people and people you call "junkies" have always been here and have been some of the best personalities here. go back to Silicon Valley :)
