Michelle's Meditation Sanctuary uses positive, empathetic guided meditations led by a female voice. With the aid of calm images, soothing sounds, and meditation music, these practices are best enjoyed with repeated listening. They utilize modules from hypnotherapy, guided relaxation, ASMR, mindfulness, visualizations, cognitive behavioral therapy, and the art of relaxing storytelling so you may cultivate an inner healing sanctuary. Every meditation and story is created to be customized by the listener to help with inner healing, relief from depression and anxiety, and feeling empowered to make positive changes.
Michelle's Meditation Sanctuary is a place where you may enjoy high quality guided meditations completely FREE with a focus on wellness, inner peace, and healing.
Michelle first started Michelle's Sanctuary for Sleep Stories in 2015. As the channel has grown to over 95,000 subscribers, it was time to create a second channel to focus on guided meditations for listeners to feel grounded and connected with their life's purpose.
Having spent a lifetime meditating, practicing yoga, learning, and listening, this channel is a community for all those who seek to grow and develop a healthy relationship with their minds and bodies.
This channel is not a replacement for consultations with a doctor or medical professional but can help you find more balance and a healing night's sleep. I always welcome comments, feedback & suggestions.

I can't tell you how much I needed this. Even though the changes in my life have mostly been positive lately, I've been struggling to cope. Thank you Michelle 💙

Thank you. Very beautiful description. This is very similar to the teachings in Taoist Iron Shirt Qigong. Standing grounded yet flexible. Flowing with the constant changes of nature. 😁😁❤️

Love this one! Would love to hear you do either a short one or long one about Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees! They’re gorgeous and beautiful. Would love a meditation focusing on them in the future, if you are looking for any suggestions. ❤

I prefer bills to change. I also accept the status quo much easier then change but change is inevitable. I don’t like it too much but like Brussels sprouts I eat it anyway. Willow trees are beautiful but they have shallow roots and easily get uprooted by strong winds but having that beauty in the world is just magnificent. Now for your brief meditation it’s very nice to hear your voice after 6 hours of hearing it. But brevity well, it’s too brief. I’ll keep saying this until they get longer if I didn’t you’d miss me.

I started replying and it disappeared! So I begin again. I'll keep these short for the people who don't have as much time to indulge in daytime meditations. But there will be a longer sleep one here soon. I love Brussels Sprouts but I was manipulated into eating them as a small child as I was told they were mini cabbage patches during a time when Cabbage Patch dolls were in high demand. There's a willow tree by the river I often go to when the air is warmer-- although one time these sprinklers unexpectedly came on. Not something one often sees in a city park.

@@MichellesMeditationSanctuary Fun fact females have different taste perceptions then males and different olfactory senses too. When I was young vegetables were from cans so I hated them all except lesure green peas. When I got older I tasted fresh veggies don’t love them all but see them as medicine so I eat em all. Eggplant has been effecting me lately and I love it. I think in a former life I was from the Mediterranean probably Italy. I know why you make these things short. I’m just spoiled and being a brat. I can’t wait for more self care meditations they are my favorite. My dog seems to like them as well she calms down and cuddles to them in the early morning after I let her out for her business. She wants to play and I’m downstairs with her so I can listen without head phones so she hears fall back to sleep or you’re ok and it’s Al good etc and she just chills out and goes to sleep. Better then 200 mg of gabapentin. My aunt next door had a willow it was huge and gracefully stately but after a big rain storm and some wind gusts it blew over. Shallow roots. I almost planted one here to absorb water they are very thirsty but it would grow too big sorry I didn’t. Now I’m going to make a dramatic change- I’m putting on a short sleeved shirt! It’s warm. Brussels sprouts are good steamed but better if roasted. Cook first in microwave maybe 2-3 minutes med or high then put in oven or toaster oven @ 400 sprinkle with olive oil lightly salt pepper to taste roast for maybe 20 minutes till they get lightly charred or carmelized you can get fancy and throw some chopped shallots in too. Much better umami

Willow trees only develop deep roots in a drought or where water is scarce... They can also grow from cuttings much easier than most of the other tree species. And if you plant them near a creek, dam or river they will stabilise erosion much quicker than other species because of the thick web of shallow roots they develop. So the stability of the willow is dependent on the availability of water.... May I suggest that water symbolises the love, support, encouragement and care we give ourselves and receive from others... and that the strength of our roots is dependent on our connection to ourselves, our family, friends and community as well as the nature and environment around us. Blessings, Dot

I forgot to say if a tree grows in the middle of the forest or wood it has weaker roots (thinner and shorter) than another tree that grows on the edge of the forest. The wind triggers the trees to grow deeper and wider root balls and stronger limbs. Change is needed in order to create growth. It may be painful for a little while but you will reap the rewards later. Blessings, Dot

Dear Michelle, for some reason I've not been getting any notifications for your newer videos on this channel and some of the newer videos on your other channel (Michelle's sanctuary). I've also noticed problems with getting notifications for other channels I'm subscribed to, even though I've been subscribed for 5 or even 10 or more years. I just thought I'd let you know in case you notice a drop off in views for your videos. One of the other affected channels is "meditation vacation". Now I'm going to be catching up with the videos I missed here. Blessings, Dot

Thank you for telling me-- Christian and I have discussed this and it's so frustrating! I'm glad you checked in... I have struggled with a drop-off but at least for my other channel, everyone knows to expect a new video every Sunday. Not sure what else I can do but I'm glad to hear your feedback.

Thankyou for replying Michelle. It must be very frustrating to know that it's affecting so many people, both channels and viewers. I wish there was a way to help you out besides letting you know and going back to your channel home to find the videos I've missed. You and Christian and other channels that publish meditations, hypnosis and sleep stories really do make a difference to so many like me. My quality of life would be so much worse if I couldn't access your videos. I wouldn't be getting very much sleep or rest and I know that your videos help me reduce my pain, suffering, worry, anxiety, depression and frustration.
