Thank you for this one! I’ve been extra anxious lately and it’s been difficult to cope with it - this meditation was such a good reminder that these challenges are temporary and we can feel safer in our own bodies ❤
I'm so glad it helped a little-- we deserve to feel safe in our bodies, even when everything else may seem a bit chaotic. Hope it continues to resonate with you 💜
I'm so sorry-- its unbearable at times to see generational patterns play out like this. But maybe helpful to know that while some people may never change, we can do our best to protect ourselves with boundaries. I hope you are able to find comfort and people who support you and don't make life harder.
I'm so so sorry for your loss. The more I have said goodbye to my beloved pets over time, the more I realize it is always hard. The amount of love they shared with us is reflected in a different way when we lose them-- and unexpected deaths leave so many questions. I hope you find peace and are kind to yourself as you continue to heal. It's been a rough few months since i lost my chihuahua quite suddenly, but it does get better-- the pain lingers, but the good memories come to the surface more.
I recently lost my dog to death unexpectedly. This has helped a tad bit at least with sleep, but idk when it’ll fully help like a lot. I’m trying to fully grieve as fast as possible. Although I know grief isn’t linear. Any advice for me? Been following this channel for awhile now.
Thank you so much for creating this meditation! My mental health has been terrible the past few months and sleep has been very disrupted. When i listen to this though, my thoughts quieten and I drift off to a good sleep. Thank you so much for your work ❤
I'm so glad you are here and I hope this continues to help you. It's hard to even approach tending to mental health when also suffering with sleep deprivation. I hope it continues to resonate with you and help you sleep!
Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and healing stories with us all. It’s not everyday we get to share such emotions and experiences. And it’s so important in our lives so we don’t get stuck. It is rare to have friends to share these things with. Yes, we can hire therapists but that’s only one part of the puzzle. Humans need true connections and release in a relatable level.
😭💔I got my 9 month old iggy puppy neutered and he died shortly after the surgery.💔😭 Just happened 3 days ago. I can’t believe he is gone. He was just a baby.
This is so incredibly hard and I am so sorry for you both. Sending you love during this time- be as kind as you can to yourself. I’m so sorry this happened. 💜
I had witty thoughts then you mentioned your spiral and felt sad so no witties. There’s a song by buddy Miles “them changes” it’s got a real nice bass groove and nice horns it makes me feel better sometimes. Death loss from death yes you’ll observe lots of changes. I still mourn my 17 year old dog I put down in 1977. It comes in waves for me the balance is just riding the wave don’t fight it. Hey, you endured changing your hair color! When or if you spiral again grab onto something. ❤
Definitely riding those waves-- does the hair color look different? Might just be the lighting of yet another gloomy day when I shot this. I mourn the loss of never seeing 1977-- I just get to vicariously live through stories, music, and films for that.
@@MichellesMeditationSanctuary Baby you have the heart and soul of a different generation. You can still forever relish the culture but quietly since the more youthful crowd just doesn’t get it. Most vocals today are auto tuned true vocal talent is more a rarity. Buddy mikes was a pretty mundane drummer but that song just hit the whole groove just right. Listen to killing floor by electric flag or Santana everything is everything or jeff beck blow by blow album these are my go to happy tunes. Your hair in that photo looks blonde about a shade lighter then mine was in high school. I think most of what we feel comes in waves. Initially they’re really big tsunamis but they get smaller in time and less frequently. That loss of a loved one is like a loss of an intricate piece of you your heart your soul. It never heals it just is better endured and accepted and the memories usually are sweeter rather then painful. At least for me. Look for the good stuff hold onto it like you do and you’ll feel better. I’m confident love will always be part of your life.
Thank you. Very beautiful description. This is very similar to the teachings in Taoist Iron Shirt Qigong. Standing grounded yet flexible. Flowing with the constant changes of nature. 😁😁❤️
Love this one! Would love to hear you do either a short one or long one about Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees! They’re gorgeous and beautiful. Would love a meditation focusing on them in the future, if you are looking for any suggestions. ❤
I'm looking for a certain sleep story I listened to about a year ago. I can't remember much of the detail because it put me at ease so fast. I just remember Michelle talking about walking up to a stereo I believe. She said to turn up bliss on the dial, and there was some other things she said to turn up and down. Any guesses on what story it maybe?
Your compassion and love comes through like the sun breaks through the dark and deeply soothes my soul... SO I CAN and DO pass that on to others! Your beautiful work flows to the world one heart changed at a time! I am radically grateful for how you uniquely contribute SO profoundly, A deep thank you!
I prefer bills to change. I also accept the status quo much easier then change but change is inevitable. I don’t like it too much but like Brussels sprouts I eat it anyway. Willow trees are beautiful but they have shallow roots and easily get uprooted by strong winds but having that beauty in the world is just magnificent. Now for your brief meditation it’s very nice to hear your voice after 6 hours of hearing it. But brevity well, it’s too brief. I’ll keep saying this until they get longer if I didn’t you’d miss me.
I started replying and it disappeared! So I begin again. I'll keep these short for the people who don't have as much time to indulge in daytime meditations. But there will be a longer sleep one here soon. I love Brussels Sprouts but I was manipulated into eating them as a small child as I was told they were mini cabbage patches during a time when Cabbage Patch dolls were in high demand. There's a willow tree by the river I often go to when the air is warmer-- although one time these sprinklers unexpectedly came on. Not something one often sees in a city park.
@@MichellesMeditationSanctuary Fun fact females have different taste perceptions then males and different olfactory senses too. When I was young vegetables were from cans so I hated them all except lesure green peas. When I got older I tasted fresh veggies don’t love them all but see them as medicine so I eat em all. Eggplant has been effecting me lately and I love it. I think in a former life I was from the Mediterranean probably Italy. I know why you make these things short. I’m just spoiled and being a brat. I can’t wait for more self care meditations they are my favorite. My dog seems to like them as well she calms down and cuddles to them in the early morning after I let her out for her business. She wants to play and I’m downstairs with her so I can listen without head phones so she hears fall back to sleep or you’re ok and it’s Al good etc and she just chills out and goes to sleep. Better then 200 mg of gabapentin. My aunt next door had a willow it was huge and gracefully stately but after a big rain storm and some wind gusts it blew over. Shallow roots. I almost planted one here to absorb water they are very thirsty but it would grow too big sorry I didn’t. Now I’m going to make a dramatic change- I’m putting on a short sleeved shirt! It’s warm. Brussels sprouts are good steamed but better if roasted. Cook first in microwave maybe 2-3 minutes med or high then put in oven or toaster oven @ 400 sprinkle with olive oil lightly salt pepper to taste roast for maybe 20 minutes till they get lightly charred or carmelized you can get fancy and throw some chopped shallots in too. Much better umami
Thank you--- so nice to see your comment! How have you been? It's taken so long for me to get around to creating these but I hope to continue with frequent releases.
Wow. Thank you so much for this gift to humanity. It's an amazing compilation of perfect music and visualizations. And to make it this long is a huge task for you. It's greatly appreciated. ❤️😁
