I love this! The last time I played this game was in the last decade! I'm busy with GW 2. But now after watching your video I want to play GW1 again. I still have my Ranger/Mesmer

Just got into GW1 after playing GW2 for years. Love both for different reasons. Haven't tried out the Ritualist but it's definitely the profession I'm most excited to play. Unsure on Secondary Prof. though. Anyone have any tips?

Secondary professions are most often about what things you want to gain from them. For example, Necromancer minions benefit from Spawning Power (and a number of Spawning Power skills trigger when you animate minions). If you want to go more of a healing route with Ritualist, then Monk or Mesmer for hex removal can be useful (Ritualists have no hex-removal skills). Martial profession (Assassin, Ranger, Warrior, Dervish, and Paragon) weapons can all be fun to use with Spirit's Strength. Because what secondary is best to go with differs depending upon what you want to do, it's hard to give a specific recommendation. I will point out, though, that it's pretty easy to change your secondary when you get far enough, so experimentation can be great fun once you get to that point (it's pretty early on in Factions)!

@@Sientir Ah wicked, many thanks! I'm kinda liking the idea of a Spear using Ritualist, though I realise getting Paragon is a little bit more tricky compared to the others, and I do already have a R/W on Prophecies. Maybe I'll give Assassin a go.

​@@gabem.2795 By the time you can change secondary professions, you can get to Kaineng Center, and from there, travel to other campaigns (like Nightfall to buy Paragon skills), provided you have them unlocked on your account, provided that that is still something you want to try as soon as possible.

@@Sientir I've played Guild Wars 1 on and off earlier this year and I have to say, most people seem to say Ritualist doesn't work well with Warrior or Dervish, but I was originally gonna play a Ritualist/Dervish or Dervish/Ritualist tbh, but next time I play I really feel like playing a Warrior Ritualist with swords. :o Also doesn't help that Ritualist has some cool combat animations and some of the best looking "light armor" in the game imho.

Great video :) re play gw1 actually. Is it just me or is this game rly that hard? Sometimes i cam get a whole grp out as rit/mo with my grp, but the next moment i fight the same type of grp same size and they just destroyng me? I dont get it at all :b but yea im a gw noob so ill just keep gaming and try with all the skills etc :)

Thanks for watching! What skills you bring definitely matters a lot, but sometimes I find myself getting destroyed because I focused on the wrong enemy first and let, for example, a Charr Flameshielder get off a Meteor Shower on my team that levels them. I hope you have continued fun with the game! :D

I use this : OAKjgNhMJTTOSTRTciVPjTCPETA will get Serpents Quickness soon, and trying this out. I love to experiment with all this large amount of skills and combinations :) but in gw1 its a bit too overwhelming, but well, still feels great :b

Salut SSS: In my view and to simplify down to its core, GW1 is all about skill bars and tactics. An 8 skill bar can cut thru some areas like a hot knife thru butter, but the next area leads to party wipe. (Hey, blinding worked so well back home, why is this assassin still hitting me?) In PvE you can research what you will be facing. Should I use hexes or conditions? Bring hex or condition removal? For defense, use enchantments, spirits or shouts? As for tactics, should I rush in when the mob bunches up or should I draw them to me? Maybe I can hide behind that rock and still cast spells?
