One does simply not skip Xerrex and Leeto in such list. Also, papa Nemesis ascended past youtube content creation into pve godhood, you will a need second list. Also, search up Miaz, or ask any EU pvp player. As for NA, one word: Fastcar. Ask in WvW discord, you will find a goldmine. + for including Vingador, though.

Vyer Duskwood (orbs) from Desolation is a wvw player that doesn't get enough credit, the amount of hours this guy has put in single handedly defending the borders is insane. He may not be the most flashy charr but his dedication to the server deserves a medal. He's the smartest non toxic player I've had the honor of playing with, also has some interesting wvw builds.
wouldnt have thought that youd include Knödelbert too, considering hes german, but im happy to see him here! That man was an absolute legend, i had some really interesting conversations with him, some of my characters praising the master with him, some starting to talk about their own bullshit religion. I didnt know he left, thats actually quite sad, but then again kind of understandable. yet he just wanted to make people laugh, and he really did. i miss him :')
Prince Vingador, Leeto and Ziltoid : the 3 eu necro of the apocalypse. Legend says that the 3 combined have afk-ed more games than the entire rest of the community since game launch, and that's counting bots. Also, Drunk Argi would make a great addition to the roster if you plan on making a part 2.
Monkeyshine knows his wvw strategy, but oh man…. The worse thing is that some people have tried to outdo him over the last year & EGB mapchat got pretty spicy at times.
Lol as a longtime DB player I was hoping Monkeyshinezz would be in this. He’s currently banned on DB but apparently harasses TC now. So at least our poor linked server won’t have to experience Monkey atm.

I remember when i quit playing wow (where i had encountered him a lot) to play gw2 back in the day and what do you know, the guy shows up in lions arch a year later... good times. I would honestly love a part two! Also some ideas for some famous people in pve would be certain commanders that have literally lead metas for YEARS in certain maps like the silverwastes or the HoT metas. I know a few names if you are interested so pm if so!

Monkey Shinezz was/is (dunno, haven't played in an age) a legend, high strung (certainly) but I wouldn't say he was toxic, not really. Say what you will of the fellow, and most of it would likely be fair, but he played well and put in tons of effort.

My experience with Monkey is largely on TC, so...yeah. Of course I moved to JQ with my friends a while ago, and thankfully he does not have an alt on there or our current linked server. (My friend loved to troll him when we were TC-linked though XD)
Xunlai the EOTM commander, Johnny The Paladin the Egyptian commander who always sounds angry, Lectell the Frenchy, Toxic Justin the commander who always had a crazy speech, Xunsion the president of Maguuma, Sweet Thang from SOS the drunk Mesmer who refuses to buy expacs and many many more.
Yeah running eotm with Xunlai was definitely an experience. Back before anet nerfed it, following a tag like Xunlai in eotm was one of the fastest way to level to 80 and you'd get bags for days.
So I was actually a friend of Monkeh because I often went around and refreshed siege and usually responded to his scouting reports. Was a lot of fun to be on DB with him as a commander.
IDK about others but I got so nostalgic when I saw KISS on gw2 after moving to EU from NA. I remember seeing those around in gw1, they have such catchy name hard to forget.

I remember [Commander] Of Funk. He was awesome in WvW for Tarnished Coast, to the extent that the other Tier 1 WvW servers would team up against TC. If I ever wanted to WvW (which was rare), if he was on, I'd join. If not, I wouldn't bother.
I played in the foxy guild on JQ. One of the most annoying things about TC was that for every one you saw, there were two more that hadn't loaded in because the blob they had on the map was lagging out the game. I rained many arrows down on funk

There is an 12 yr old kid on henge of denravi... he was a commander and lead decently big groups, used to be leader of 2 decent guild, and was an officer of [PAIN] playing since beta at age of 5 or something... he’s decent guy but not on much lately IGN is silent but strong, he is no longer on hod as a few guilds did not like the class he played (thief) yet he has a strong reputation within HOD. A lot of guilds kicked him out cause if his age. If you see him online, you might want to msg him.
I did to, i didn't mention it in the video but at one point he was in our guild. We all found it hilarious, but he ended up leaving when one time we prioritized fighting a group over defending his tower :(
Jadexi is ALWAYS around. I have taken year long gaps from gw2, and when I log back in, he will with 100% certainty be in lions arch, chatting away. Had afew interactions and dance parties with him myself.
He’s a content creator, but I think you should include lord hizen mainly because of his troll against SA and CAKE during the days that guild was around

Bro. You totally missed DK Dragon Knight on YAKS BEND leader of FOW played for 2weeks non stop for wvw seasons and pugmanded all the time. Treated people like traitors and all that stuff after YB fell and people left.
Surprised not to see more OG streamers and sPVPers up there. There's many of the OGs who went on to play professionally and they had been dominating since the beginning (Xeph, Phantaram, Zoose). I also shamelessly throw myself in there. I wasn't "famous" then, but I did help shape the GW2 meta surrounding the necromancer and wrote the original conditionmancer guide on it.
Ex-GW2 player from Eredon Terrace. Shout to Pirate Knights and Cedrick the Norn. I remember everyone just standing up on a cliff and watching him jump down into WvW vs an enemy Zerg. Was famous on our server for being unkillable. I don’t think I can think of a time I ever saw him fall.
I could watch plenty of more parts of this series! It's so interesting to see such something for a player like me who is new to GW2 with just under a year of time.

I love play these mmorpg theme not just because of the gameplay or graphics but also there will be a history that created by player in that game and thats the main reason i love playing mmorpg
I can think of a few people: Zoda (elite PvEr and troll master, Trill (led huge guild called Bros Before Pros), Paragon (preached WoW was the first MMO everyday in old LA), and the original Ronald McDonald and Hulk
Yea but not like he was impactful. He runs "open raids" where only ones he lets on voice are in his guild and every guild leaves any server he goes to. He is not a man people like and he hasn't done anything amazing. Also theres plenty of big guilds in the game.
This makes me miss my old guild, being one of the top Commanders on Ring of Fire back in the early days of GW2 but I haven't played a long time for a long duration now. Maybe I will return one day and lead Ring of Fire once again.

First off, great video! Love it :D But I feel like you missed two things. About Rasman The Boss, he is also known for having fashion shows/competitions in LA were a lot of pepole attend. Also, one of the most important players imo is MightyTeapot! He have introduced sooo many new players to raiding, including myself, with his streams on twitch and precense in mapchat. Truly a great player!
I didn’t know this video existed. Actually around 2 years ago around June 2019 on the Maguuma servers there was a Australian Commander named Accelus who was or still in the guild BoB who was infamous at the time to have killed 50-70 man squad of his own by jumping off cliffs in spawn within the time frame of 3 minutes. That’s like a -180:3 KD from just that. I was told that he was not very knowledgeable of the map the Crystal Oasis and the routes when it first came out.
