The big thing you forgot about aeriths single target ability, is that it is a 100% (at ob6, which is where you should stop, this is a main hand weapon) heal at only 4 atb. You got a 5 star cura for 4 atb. Pop that 5 star cura into the aoe heal slot, and you have an incredibly powerful healer, with 30% mdef on everyone. her heal stat can easily be dealt with her subweapons.
Same here, rubber band gun is pretty funny at level 1, seems to stack and only drop when changing from attack stance, but level it to 10 and it's then only 20% lol
Tifa's weapon also has atb boost and ice damage resist, which is great for shiva because you need that magic defense up before the blindness. OB6 it for the ability on Tifa, and you can also give it as a sub weapon for matt so he can do that initial cast. B ranking is fair, but I wanted to point that use case for it.
I got Lucia's weapon OB1 for the Guild Ranking and it was the best choice I could have made. That PDef all let me survive Stg 5 more comfortably, and once I even survived the post-sigil attack with 17 HP. And I got that one specifically, not only because I try to use her a lot, but also because on the Battle Rankings there's usually debuffs to stance gauge gain, so it seemed like an amazing alternative for that.
@@fenro9708 probably not tbh like he said you're not at full charge so you would use a mive at basically half power and the weapon doesn't have any offensive r abilities + less pure stats than a regular banner weapon. Only way I see it useful for ranked would be on a support unit to get the buff on your dps quicker.
Sorta. It’s pretty good/niche for your support to fire off a quick Buff for your DPS/Team. That said, the ATB boost will be at its strongest during Dungeon Ranking due to the fact your Stance gauge carries over between fights. That’s the real tech.
@titi3736 Its pretty good for Dungeon Rankings I think since you won't need to use Ethers. So you can immediately buff/debuff/Heal before the Boss even starts doing anything.

@titi3736 For the New Rankings, especially Guild Rankings, itll be situational. Like if you need to immediately debuff a Boss before it cast something. Or it can be used for certain Summon battles like Shiva Ex. Instead of using Esuna(If not available), just cast AoE mdef buff immediately before getting Silenced in order to survive. Have some uses but not really required. It would be very specific battles that requires immediate casting.
Isn't your ATB gauge already set when you enter each fight in a crisis dungeon? I mean, there are items where you can boost your ATB before you even enter the battle, so does it actually trigger and give you more ATB on top of what you've already got, for each fight? If so, that's a lot better than I gave it credit for. Currently I use them for fights that end really fast that I just have to do repeatedly, like the Premium Quests, or if I'm farming co-op Ramuh or Leviathan VH2 matches, cause those are over really quick anyway, and getting that extra oomph right out the gate just helps them end that much quicker. But if it's true that they activate in every single battle during a Crisis Dungeon, that's pretty big actually.
From datamining we know the HP requirments are linear, basically you lose a few % damage for every % hp lost. Its not like oh you're below 70% now you only do 2x instead of 3x
I don't know if you missed it, but the nail bat is not that good. Even though it's 1600% potency, it needs 5 ATB to use it (like Zack Ceremonial Sword) So we check the damage per ATB, it's not that much stronger, but at least it's unconditionnal. It's around the same power as Tifa's Guide Gloves : ~320% per ATB
8:50 and also even if the boss has a buff of like 5 tier or even more the ability removes everything at once way better than debuffing by 3 tier in this situation (Downside you can't actually debuff him)
Would say atb boost is good, yes at start up you get to use a skill off the bat, but this also affects the rest of the fight like a sigil phase you weren't able to do now you can
Not neceraly since you can't store ATB let say you need to heal + reapply buff after a big aoe the ATB you have before that doesn't matter if you're healer had nothing to do before that and would be full ATB anyway.
As a Yuffie main, I OB10'd her Bamboo Ring right away; before I bought any other guild weapon. Was that a smart decision? Not at all. Do I agree with you that hers is probably the worst weapon of all of them? Yeah, I do, lol. So why did I do it? Gotta treat your favorites :D I'm really bad at this game.
Id imagine ATB boost would be useful for Dungeon Rankings and Tower fight, but yeah they are the least useful. They should have included 10% ATB speed too or something
Yeah, are a "10% chance of getting haste" per attack. Something more than "once in a fight" buff, as it's only useful in short fight. Or a "command gauge" boost at start too.
I know it won’t happen for a while but clearly we’ll have another guild weapon exchange in the future so I more so want to see those too before spending any coins. These all are very niche
@@wokeaf1337 nail bat is good if you don't have a non-elemental weapon for cloud, the no limit/summon charge hurts a bit, but it's definitely better than trying to use an elemental weapon against an iron giant that resists everything
I have not yet pulled a single one of these weapons because there is the change that they will include new and better weapons in the future. I want to have a lot of guild exchange coins when they come. The current weapons are far too niche in my opinion.
Well… that’s sorta the point of these weapons. Imo filling a niche role is honestly *fantastic* for FREE weapons… I’d rather niche weapons be free that you can pull/farm anytime than they show up on a banner. elemental resistance is pretty much needed in some fights but is useless outside of those situations. I also wouldn’t expect new weapons anytime soon as we just got them. It’s fine waiting to use them like Octo said but if you’re waiting for new weapons bc these are “too niche” (which is great in the grand scheme of things) it may be some time my guy.
