There may be some lore-bit that makes that funnier. Seeing that specifically 4 drop from his gun. His gun's supposedly some super special gun, so special that only 5 exists across all dimensions (is other gun is a replica of that gun)
fun fact: Arcade mode has multiple different dialogues depending on your current difficulty, I found this out when I was replaying chip and sol's arcade mode
@@wanderingmarshadow i’m not sure why games don’t do this. I know it was an option in MVC and i’m pretty sure it was an option in Blazeblue chronophantasma( i’m pretty sure, I can’t quite remember). It’d just be nice to mix and match how i please
@@JohnGlow2 I'm pretty sure Cross Tag did it. Even though I think the English dub is good in this game, if they did it once, they have no excuse not to do it again.
@@Doflaminguard yea I know that. I-no brought Megumi back before she disappeared. But from the arcade it shows that the I-no with powers just got stuck in a paradox. And the arcade modes ARE cannon too.
@@HobbNoblin I don't know much about GG admittedly, so forgive my ignorance, but what's a Respect Rant? Is it just an audio file that plays when you idle long enough, or taunt? Or is that something from the Story Mode?
@@demonman905 respect is a kind of taunt where instead of taunting the enemy you respect them, its performed by pressing forward and the taunt butto at the same time
@@demonman905 more broadly, some taunts/respects have an extremely long duration, mostly so that the character in question can go on a long rant about whatever. Examples include Nagoriyuki extolling the many benefits of onigiri, Giovanna petting Rei, Ramlethal chatting with Lucifero, and now Happy Chaos going on a mad tangent.
@@demonman905 taunts (the basic button press) also have a gameplay purpose of giving the enemy 10% tension, which is basically adding insult to the injury. Also you can't move in any direction or jump when you're doing respects, but you can cancel out of the respect with an attack or a special. Some people use them to buffer a super with a complicated motion without moving
And this makes 4 characters voiced by people who’ve had VA roles in the Persona series. Happy Chaos’ VA (Robbie Daymond) voices Goro Akechi, Leo’s VA (Jamieson Price) voices Sojiro Sakura, Zato’s VA (Matt Mercer) voices Yusuke Kitagawa, and Millia’s VA (Tara Platt) voices Mitsuru Kirijo.

Happy Chaos mentions "an entity similar to Nagoriyuki" and Slayer is speculated from leaks to be the 5th character in the season pass, which is also the time when they will be adding more to the story
The gun in the holster that is facing the player, is not the real Crescent Moon but a replica he made, It's also the one that is used in your normals. The real Crescent Moon is the one you use for your HS and the Take aim and it's in the holster that is facing away from the screen. That's also why you only need to reload one of your guns.
oh wow this could tease the next story pretty big. Chaos and I-no possibly coming back into the real world after both being banished to this mirror dimension that the game itself takes place in

Ikr? The fact that HC's more of an existentialist (even more than Bedman, I'd argue) than any other GG character makes it all the funnier when the time clock reaches zero and HC shoots it in response. Instant favorite for me
He actually doesn't like causing suffering to others, he just feels that humanity has to keep itself busy fighting, otherwise, they'll begin to reflect and see that the world is meaningless and fall into dispair. He wants to be humanity's "black sea", a common villain for all of humanity to unite against, in hopes that they'll eventually come to a spiritual evolution.
6 months late but Yeah Chugging is right, mostly. I'd just like to add that Happy Chaos used to have a healthier outlook on the world, but having omnipotentce shoved into him by the Universal Will drove him a bit mad. This twisted his aspirations to benefit Humanity from trying to create improvements such as researching the backyard to, what Chugging explained.
Christ almighty Happy Chaos if an infinitely interesting little bastard, isn't he? I now have more questions than ever, and I thought I got all the answers I could want from the story!
My favourite headcanon is that this guy with all his higher knowledge doesnt get a lot of earthly things anymore like how to shoot a gun. So he's just been casting spells that look like bullets this whole time in order to keep it dramatic
you know it's quite surprising I recently learned he has the same voice actor as the following (no particular order) Chai, Tuxedo Mask ( his first foray into English voice acting as well as both viz dub and Crystal dub), Goro Akechi, River War, Merlin (fate Grand order), Prompto ( hopefully we get restore contact Monday but for now I want to let it go for now mainly because 14 is still doing well and 16 is currently), Mumen Rider, SwaySway and more recently Stardust cookie I would say in my opinion Robbie Daymond is really talented to be honest
