What about Baiken and Testament's interactions to Happy Chaos? I know Baiken has encountered Happy Chaos before but I want see her reaction to him to know what she would say to him from the start talk and the end talk when I saw season 2's DLC.

I'll even tell you in the Lore She is looking for Happy Chaos but even when she came out she doesn't SAY ANYTHING to HC. its just the GG devs are fucking Lazy and they didn't put any work into some of these interactions at all.
i have never played guilty gear and i never intend to but i love chaos with all of my being. if someone were to put a gun to my head and tell me to play guilty gear i would tell them to splatter my brains all over the floor but i want to marry chaos.

Since nobody else seems to have mentioned it in the comments, i'd just like to mention how some characters actually glance at HC when he passes by them. I like that subtle extra lil' detail they gave just for the HC intros.
I was hoping someone else would notice how that played out. Like one of the only cases he doesn't seem to know they were going to be there but is entirely unfazed all the same
NGL I was looking forward to that one the most. I was hoping it would be wild like in the story mode. Like right before he touches the butterfly we see 1 frame of Happy Chaos and as he touches it and time resumes then we see Happy Walk behind him. (Thats what I would have like to have seen)
@@The_Twero HC can’t move through time stop. He was never shown doing anything aside from looking at Axl. And considering the fact that even full power I-no (who absorbed HC btw) couldn’t move through time stop it just further proves that HC can’t move in it either
@@ItsLynch1 Which is weird considering Sol could move in Axl’s timestop, but HC and Full powered I-No who are both stronger than him couldn’t. Also I don’t think saying I-No absorbed HC is accurate. It’s more like they both willingly merged, because HC and I-No were one half and after they get separated their both still alive (HC is on the beach and I-No’s arcade mode takes place after the story), so saying HC was absorbed doesn’t fit.
I think my favorite interaction has to be with Jack-O, because yeah, this dude created magic and is responsible for most of the bad stuff that happened in the last 100-200 years, you SHOULD be scared
@@AstridRuna so at the start of Raven's Arcade mode they talk and that's when he talks about the unfished Thing Askua was making and it's name was Happy Chaos and (Happy Chaos was listing in on that conversation he loved the name so much he took it for him self) I can link it if you wanna see it
A few of them are a little jank, but I love the implied themes in these interactions. Chaos happily walks in with May and Leo. Chaos narrowly dodges Ky's sword and Potemkin's entrance. Chaos messes with Nagoriyuki's and Anji's cool flouishes. Chaos knew exactly where Chipp, Axl and I-no were going to appear. I think it's really cool how every intro ends up telling a little story with this animation
What I love more is that they gave him a good amount of character specific lines. Specifically against characters you expect him to know personally. Sol, Nago, I-No, Axl and himself.
Chaos is basically just "okay so i know i just caused like 4 cars to burn down just minutes ago but lemme tell you about this plush i found laying on the ground."
Imagine having a sick intro where you stop time and teleport in and then this one asshole in a jacket just nonchalantly walks in from behind you as if nothing special happened.
The fact the highfive animation ends up being a pat on the back of the head for most characters is such a fun animation reuse, reminds me of similar stuff 2d games do, but here is unnecessary, but perfect
Definitely reminds me of the intro between two Akihikos in Persona 4 Arena/Ultimax where they both use their fistbump animation, making it look like they're fistbumping each other
"My name is Zato-1-" "Skip the explanation." I know that wasn't intentional, but damn is that a good follow up one liner. Man literally told him "stfu and fight you corpse"
This animation works so well. All the other characters are doing some crazy pose or come strollin in and Chaos walks past em like “oh shit! You look fuckin cool!”
That makes him seem terrifying because of the mystery, the fact he seems so understated and powerful that he can be so casual with even the most godlike of character helps make him a more threatening figure. We might not have slayer right now, but happy chaos fulfils the casually powerful being angle in some ways. Hope we eventually get him so we get his casual badass vampire vibes.
The Axl one is my favorite. It just makes Happy Chaos a bit more eerie of a character from this interaction. He knew Axl would show up at that exact spot at that exact time, despite Axl literally moving through stopped time.
I find it incredibly disappointing that these characters don't have unique lines to each other. Centralfiction had like every character have at least one unique line of dialogue with someone. AND some characters have multiple intros depending on what Act (which part of Story mode) you set the game to in settings. Hazama and Terumi alone have 3 separate interactions. But this game which launched with only what 15 characters and nearly every intro line is either generic or vague enough that it could be generic. Though I do get that part of it is because you can't have Sol shouting angrily at I-no or Chaos because of his animations. Just like how because of Jack-o's intro none of her lines will stray very far from "cheery" the furthest we got was "very mild concern."
which is odd, because in xrd there were a lot more unique interactions, especially at the end when there was a little defeat message from the victor character to the other I think it has to do with what they said about the game needing to strip away some stuff to come out sooner without delays, similar to what they said about IKs.
Me too. Sadly I didn't go over the Whole cast in their perspective because Happy would say the same thing. I went over most of them that actually stood out and referenced the story in some way. Originally I wanna gonna add an Xrd clip of How Or why Chaos said it's nice to meet you. In Rev 2 in her arcade mode, she talks to Raven and he mentioned Happy Chaos and he accepts the name moving forward to this game.
I like how some of them actually turn their head when he walks past them, like Sol and Jack-O, and how Millia shifts a little when he taps her shoulder lol. Nice little details.
Everyone talkin about the high five or Ky almost slicing him, meanwhile I'm over here seeing even Happy Chaos is a man of culture when he walks behind Jack-O with the camera on that ass shot and him saying "wonderful... 😏"
I'm in sheer awe of how well his pats and hi's fit in with the existing intro animations and how much drama and humour and interaction it gives to all of the characters. Ky and Nago drawing their swords almost right in front of Chaos makes them seem more distrustful of him, all the other characters seemingly ignoring his nonchalance makes them feel like they're a bit tense, him only giving a hello wave to May standing behind him makes it seem like they were just going on a nice stroll, him being almost crushed by Ramlethal's swords makes it seem like she REALLY wants to get rid of him... Leo's soliders not reacting to him touching their king can give us a lot of character for all the characters involved... It's crazy how much recontextualization can add depth to these simple animations!
With how meta HC is I love that he walks on screen from the same side as his "opponent" because he doesn't really hate them or anything, he just has to play his role
Kinda miss every interaction having their own lines. Every time Happy (I know his abbreviation is “Chaos” but I like calling him “Happy”) repeats himself I feel like I’m playing Injustice with all the: “I’m BATMAN”s going on.
If you're playing Bridget she'll stare incredibly confused about where in the FUCK Happy Chaos came from becoming she just rode in on her Yo-Yo looking the direction shes heading and when she turns around Autistic Maguc Jesus is just behind her
Though Fighting him isn't the most fun most likely, his interactions with everyone else are really well done. (Edit) I especially love the Leo one. (Edit 2) I also love how casual Axl is with Chaos.
There's another interaction between a Mirror Happy Chaos where it goes (GUILLOTINE!): "Wait, which one of us is supposed to be the real one?" "Beat me~" I know about this because my friend and I just wasted 2 hours trying to understand him against each other.
