I love how they tricked the crowd into thinking it was the short version of the song and then the chorus starts again and everyone is "Oooh it's the long versiooon ... guess we keep singing !"
It's because the FGC is unfiltered and sticks to its grass roots, where as BIG e-sports games like league and CSGO have these arrogant pro players who think they're above everyone, they've got an entire toxic and cocky fanbase with shit eating grins AND they've got big money to decide who or what the "focus" will be on every year. Even though competitive games like these also started at basement dwelling PC lan tournaments, their "e-sports culture", as I describe it, has evolved so much through out the years to the point of no return. So it's no wonder their fans don't seem as excited; while the FGC loves any new fighting game, system mechanic or character to be thrown at them in concept form, a player base like League's will look at a character reveal and be like "wow that's so fucking broken what has this game come to smh". THAT in itself should make it obvious how spoiled these players are in other games. And don't get me started on game awards shit and E3 crowds and their twitch chats, where people are constantly spamming "ResidentSleeper" at EVERYTHING they personally don't like and devs forcefully trying to act funny in hopes getting people to buy the next fifa game.
I want to believe the audience sang along to this purely so they can proudly yell at the top of their lungs "THAT IS BULLSHIT". Also love how everyone lost their place in the lyrics due to the way the song is edited at 2:02. Still an amazing moment. Wish I could've been there to sing along.
This trailers with the same song over and over already sold the game. Just hear how the crowd sing along with it. It's hype in its purest form. #strIVe
The lyrics go: "That is Bullshit! Blazing Still my heart is blazing" NOT ONLY did they put the phrase "That is Bullshit" in the refrain, they rhymed the word "blazing" with itself. Absolute madlad
I mean, it makes perfect sense, in context of the full song. The first verse talks about how your own reflection will always show what you truly are, a ferocious animal, figuratively speaking and the second verse talks about society trying to keep people in check, telling people what they must do and say while claiming "this is who you are", hence "That is bullshit, still my heart is blazing!" Proclaiming that you're staying true to yourself. It seems pretty straightforward to me, given how being a rockerboy who makes videogames, which Daisuke is, goes very much against what's expected in a Japanese society.
hi yeah that's me LOL. At first glance, I thought it was Raven and screamed "OHHHHHHHHHHH!" because I thought I saw stretchy arms, but then I looked at it again & saw the red eye in the bag, and then I knew it was Faust & was even more hype lmao.
Imagine at the start of the match it plays the normal smell of the game, but at the final round when someone is at 50% hp or less the crowd version of the song seamlessly swaps in to build further hype
Lol i like how since they made a mixed edit with the lyrics for the theme song for this trailer, the crowd was kinda confused with which parts to sing. I would be too lol. But yeah, this is one of the best live reactions I've ever seen!
Although I wasn’t at Arcevo, I remember telling my Guilty gear Buddies about the vid coming up yesterday and we all huddled around the screen to watch it. The last trailer(Revealed Chipp/Potemkin) I screamed at the top of my lungs when Chipp came(I’ve been a Chipp Main since Accent Core days in case you don’t know why I did that) So this trailer was Good. We sang the rest of the song like the crowd. The title came, one of my friends said “Huh? No fighter Reveal?” It said “HERE COMES DAREDEVIL” we all gasp we were confused and I said “Is that a Paper bag? what fighter would have a paper bag on his head?” And suddenly One of my Friends said “ITS BECAUSE THATS FAUST MY MAIN!!! OH MAH GAWWWWWWD!!!!!!!!” That was a really good trailer. Now Gotta Wait till January now!!!!!!
Finally, Guilty Gear weeboos got there national anthem (that literally rocks), and mostly cause they can sing "Bullshit", but I wonder if it will get demonitized by RU-vid.
I heard this song for a while now everywhere and i just realized its from GG, and i just stumbled upon this video. I'm gonna be honest here whenever i see crowds singing along out of nowhere, for no actual reason, without knowing the song its coming. Seeing shit like this keeps me going.
I dont know Whats more epic. That one guy who finished singing the Pokemon theme song when people didn't know it. The everyone is here reaction The Kirby chant Or BLAZING P.S thats what Im calling it now
I kinda hope this happens during finals. Imagine we've got a Milia vs Ram match (I don't know who's most competitive right now) and the entire crowd lights up with the chorus of subhuman self
