a haunted bed being a playable fighting game character is the funniest thing to happen to furniture since a talking chair played a duel monsters deck filled with Chair monsters in yugioh sevens.
If you love the bed, that's a playable character in a fighting game. Man, have I got news for you. Back in the era of the Genesis/32x/Saturn, there was a game called "Fighters Megamix," and in it, you had the option to play as the hornet, a race car from another Sega series, Daytona USA. Fighting games are weird, and that's why we love them.
Crazy how this character went from one of my least favourites to my top 3, just the change of tone for the character is amazing, on par with them turning baldhead from missing link into the legend that is faust
0:56 I don't know for sure, but it looks like Bedman?'s magic is REALLY unstable. That might feel obvious tho, but that's what I noticed from the giant explosion knocking him backwards after.
The bed has no sense of preservation when it comes to protecting Delilah, so it doesn't delay setting off the explosion before bracing. The sooner the danger is gone, the sooner Delilah is safe
Absolutely love not just the character (even tho this is my 2nd time playing a guilty gear game), but I absolutely love the beginning of the music in this video
Aaah I can hear in the lyrics of the song some of the things Bedman himself mentioned back in his arcade, as well as words he would usually speak in but it's hard to focus in them- ->Why do the lyrics mention a circle? Because it is both Endless and Finite: a circle has finite size, but consists of an infinite number (in fact a continuum) of points. ->At 0:25 seems to be either "There's a room in my head" or "There's still room in my head" ->The "pure white, all the same" part must refer back to Bedman's headspace: a plane of endless white where everything was the same. ->What I can't really tell what is says is the part between 0:34 and 0:48, I swear I heard words like "Consuming, deterred, you have...", and "How much do you recall?" or "How to count to you and love" as in, perhaps, given the motif of the circle it may refer that there's an infinite space between Bedman and the life he wanted with Delilah, before once again talking about the circle. ->He seems to be trying to reassure Delilah (0:50 "I am here, I am here...") but he is very much only half there (0:53"...following the pattern of the circle") which does add up to what Happy tells I-No in his story mode; Bedman's soul didn't fall into limbo like Zato because he lost his "ID in the world" using his last attack on Ariels (he may have burned it up) and may have ended up trapped in another dimension of sorts. Perhaps the next story content we'll have may focus on the Paradox space Happy and I-No are trapped in since it seems the creature Happy is looking for may be Bedman himself, since he stops referring to him as a person and more like a magical creature- and a space which Chipp and Testament have noticed as well, and Nagoriyuki is guarding (most likely he sense HC in there), with Asuka finally going over to examine it himself.
given the mentions of this symbolic circle, i'm guessing the track title will have something to do with that altho, at the moment, i don't have my "terminally watches video essays" brain to add to your interpretation or give my own lol
@@creashaksorgazine2788 Yes, you are correct- this is because its talking about the circle which seems to be the main theme for the song- A Circle is both Endless and Finite: it has finite size, but consists of an infinite number (in fact, a continuum) of points.
the bed is the same bedman used before he died, Robo-ky blast leaves her badly damaged and kills the young man who was tied to her, she is the which turns out to be his sister of the deceased young manmysterious girl who appears before the remains of bedman inGuilty Gear Xrd Rev 2.
It doesn't appear that way. My guess is that the ability was something Bedman himself did, not necessarily a power of the bedframe? That's my guess any ways. 😊
You're playing the bed, which belonged to Bedman. The bed is acting strange and might be Bedman or his desire to protect his sister Delilah, hence the uncertainty in "Bedman?"
In xrd when Bedman himself was alive, the crown was more physical and resembled the kings crown, the most important piece on the chess board. Now, in strive after his death, it resembles a queen, the kings (Deilah), most powerful protector. It also heavily resembles Happy Chaos's Halo with the all black and hovering. Maybe there's a connection there?
Hay, so i got curious about what people said about bedman? when he was announced, and i decided to watch this trailer for him when i found your comment, and I'm happy to say that I've actually designed my own bedman? out of lego I've made a community post on my channel with the lego bedman? If you'd like to see it
strive is also one of the most successful guilty gear games, so if it works it works. also the mechanic being gone is lore friendly because it is tied to bedman being alive, which he is not.
