and when the raging demon kills the opponent literally flies the entire way round the planet instead of bouncing around, yeah i think they portrayed his strength pretty well

Did something happen to the budget? All of a sudden these victory screens have actually been cool rather than just the character saying something as the camera pans them. Since Elphelt we have had cooler and more detailed win screens.
I think this is a mix of them finally learning to master the game's art style + the fact that the original characters were made during the Pandemic, which greatly affected the game's animation.
Someone did the math and found out that if Askua has no mana, he'll simply just get one shot by raging demon, Chipp also loses around 89% of his health. This character is cooked, I love it.
it's a thing strive has been doing with new characters where their blocking animation gets more intense/worried the longer the blockstring goes for. neat detail
without anything it deals approximately 65%-70% of nago's health according to the starter guide, which in turns equals something of around 294 damage IN ONE MOVE and it's on Nago that has a 3% damage reduction, so on ky it deals around 303 damage.... or 380 damage on chipp, without any counterhits, scaling or whatever

It would be a great missed opportunity to not include young slayer as a secret code alt costume... but so does the almost naked variant... decisions decisions, i mean modders will make both either way since both are pretty much have the same rig (SMH is even easier tho because it's still the same face). The only problems i think would be the young slayer's face... might be a problem animation wise
In the other gameplay reveal video, Slayer wins two games, and different haikus show up on the screen during his victories. So yes, it is probably still random.
