www.megaupload.... Robo-Ky's Ex Theme "Holy Orders?" www.megavideo.c... Couldn't actually find a MP3 of this song, so since I had the PC version of the game. I basically had to hack into it to get the audio file that was used.
i went back to AC and my first match was ky (me) vs. robo ky. i honestly spent 5 minutes examining my speakers thinking they blew out before remembering that robo ky's theme is just an audible anxiety attack
Yeah, I didn't report it but I seriously thought it was bugging out because I jumped in on the beta! I was streaming it for a friend and we couldn't believe how mangled it sounded. It wasn't until a week later that I learned from her that that was actually the song! I've since replaced the track with Robo Ky's Vortex Infinitum from the Korean OST; the joke and getting pranked like that was funny but it's worn out its welcome.
I bet whoever was in charge of making this song just opened Holy Orders in the audio, pressed one or two hotkeys, saved it, stood up, pushed in his chair, and said "Alright, I'm going on break."
what i love about this theme is that it HAS the distorted sound. most people dislike it because it has it, but think about it, Robo-ky is a freakin' psycho and this theme fits him perfectly
Robo-Ky is a fucking maniac strutting around in Kys clothes. This is perfect music for him. Imagine he gets in Strive and we get "The Roar of the Spark?"
@@originalzero4422 I was pretty much exclusively talking about his gameplay. Robo-Ky is a pretty normal if narcissistic tough guy with a heart of gold. His gameplay though only rivals Faust in complete insane bullshittery. I missed that point in my original comment.
@@porkbandit1107 Basically, Ky uses somewhat normal magic and swordplay, whilst Robo-Ky can use his knee as a rocket launcher and pull a unicycle out of thin air.
Hm... I just wanna say this, this song extremely fits who Robo Ky is: An insanely bugged out carbon copy of something which he will never hope to ever reach due to how broken he his compared to the original, yet with determination to continue to follow said original’s footstep.... even if forgotten or considered inferior (only 1 actual appearances, the other is reskin or story in REV’s case)
my brother and I, on shrooms, playing guilty gear, picking this track every time. I still haven't recovered but it was one of the best once in a lifetime times
@@supajesus961 But if DBFZ is in dormant, eventually part three of the game will come out. I mean X'rd is not over, yet. And besides we might bring#Reload Robo and GG2 characters especially with Testament also A.B.A.
He was a major character in Revelator's story and had a Rev2 epilogue at least. Unfortunately I don't ever see him coming back anytime soon as a playable character.
@@ashtar3876 On the guilty gear XXAC+R discord server, there is a Robo ky channel, I recommend going there if you'd like to know more about him or +R in general. +R is still a part of many online tournaments these days.
When my friend asked what my thought process is every time I solved a stressful situation, I played this song and told this is what the process feels like.
This song is awesome when you wanna flee from the real world. Just put this on with head phones and maximum volume and enjoy you brain just melting away...
This one is hands down my favorite OST, first time I listened to it, I was scratching my head thinking the game was busted ahahah but it just fits so perfectly for robo Ky, once I figured out it was intentional I thought it was genius and just grow on me.
And yet Robo seems to always fill the comic relief role. He could work so well as fully fledged villain in the plot! I guess that's what makes him such a good character. He's badass and lovable!
Weird effect: after listening for this for a bit, then switching to Ky's normal theme Holy Orders - my mind makes me still hear the distorted theme, kind of.
