For all these years we were making fun of how goofy the lyrics are, and Shenanigans, and all that stuff, but I'll have to admit... I find the line "And knights will fight and die for a piece of peace" an awesome line for a Power Metal song and it has all to do with the Crusades (from Guilty Gear) even if the lyrics writers didn't even know what it was.

I was living under a rock, until 2020 I realize there is a vocal version of this song English and Japanese, damn it is hard to tell which one I like the best, English is cheesy as hell but gets me hyper pumped up makes me want to pick up any GG game and go hulk smash, Japanese version on the other hand is much more sober and fits a bit better with Ky character, got to say if it wasn't for the shenanigans line (cant take the song seriously lol) I would definitely put the English version on top.

Honestly the fact that they went whole hog on this kinda softens the corniness of it to me. Like it's still plenty cheesy and weird but you can't say the singers didn't put in an adamant effort, and I think that's respectable just by itself. I almost found myself singing along to 'never forgive a shenanigan.'
