One of the coolest songs in the game. Fast paced, full of energy, and just epic. Child of the Wild is cool too, but Suck a Sage fits Chipp better, as CotW isn't fast enough.
I do remember first playing this character. And my first thought was. You know that thing on his wrist would come in handy when I'm cutting branches off a tree
now the art and animation are considered bad, it's all relative. games with best graphics and resolution will look bad and primitive to people 10-20 years from now.
@@InfinitePrandora holds up to this day tbf, much like Castlevania Sotn. the games who suffer the most in the transition to better hardware are the ones who try to simulate realistic graphics, while the ones who have their own style can hold up pretty well.
Somehow, this song makes me think of Captain Falcon... Anyway, the Guilty Gear series has a great soundtrack, and this one is no exception. Great song! 🎸🎶🔥
@SNES Nes an old series that hasn't gotten any games in decades that only gets represented in one game now at days, how do you want me to know you're joking?
Same here! But it actually makes a good bit of sense, the song sounds similar to the F-Zero soundtrack, and they’re both characters that zoom around at the speed of light
I'll always be disappointed that it didn't get titled "Sucka Sage" since that would be actual music terminology. It would even make some sense, as a sucka is a wannabe poser...
I love his gauntlet blade.. The only other properiy I have seen with it's like is the elbow blades in the Guyver. This type of weapon needs to show up more.
Hearing this particular song first from Etherena Beta on one of the stages And then I heard it on GGX to realize it was this guy's theme all along From there, the "chorus" at 0:58 makes me wanna bang my head from the memories of that pleasant surprise from hearing a bit more of it years ago.
Look at the vid... He's dancing to his own song by just doing two motions over and over again. And even though - or because of that - he seems so badass.
killer soundtrack, been a fan of guilty gear for so many years now and i always have this song stuck in my head, but i have the older version in my head instead lol
I looked up wikipedia and it said that shurikens weren't really meant to be weapons, but were more of a distraction. Kudos to the GG team for realism (in that particular point, that is)
@adelin081 This is like the only time I've ever seen someone comment on the number of likes instead of being all negative and focusing on the dislikes. I'm glad there are people like you out there.
I used to own everyone with this character. And I love his theme song; amazing and very well suited to his fast and furious fighting style. Overall, Chipp rocks!
Yoooooooooooooo BRs aqui! E nossa, há 6 anos atrás! Enfim, música *foda* Na verdade, quase toda a OST é *foda* .
@@Hazielangelo Já ouvi quase tudo do revelator (e comprei o jogo).
@ShadowReubenKee Lol, the song's title is referring to sage, as in the plant. When dried, sage produces a very sharp, bitter taste. It's the equivalent of saying "Go suck a lemon."
