I think they did a great job with the english voice casting. Slayer, Axl, Elphelt, bedman, Sin and Sol I approve of 100%. At first I thought Sol sounded too much like a Gears of war character but it grew on me. Prefer him over Jouji, though i'd rather have Daisuke
I really hope they try English voice acting for strive. I really think everyone sounds good except sol. Sol is just jarring to the point of distraction

3:43 THAT HAIKU THOUGH LOL!!!!! I never played this game or even really knew about it, I looked it up and this is the first video I've seen of it. The whole thing is much better than I expected ;D
don't blame the voice actor, but the timing on Chipp's voice during the rapid attack was pretty bad, maybe it was the directing that didn't consider the timing of the voice to accelerate with the speed of the attacks and follow through until they were over, idk.
Not mention from what I looked up that's JB Blanc, who voices a lot of characters such as Komamura in Bleach, Maxwell in Hellsing, Ulthane in Darksiders, among others
Axl sounds adorable. XD And I'm totally loving the Cinematic Instant Kills compared to the earlier GG games with only added effects. Also, I'd totally love to see that Bedman kid have a debate with Natural Harmonia Gropius. I bet it'd be fun to try and keep up with what they're saying. XD
I honestly think most of the dubbing is pretty good. biggest issues are the English pronunciation of "Kiske" and Ramlethal's voice. But during actual gameplay, nobody says "Kiske" and though Ramlethal's voice is still cringe worthy, I understand what they were going for
MegaHasmat "Ramlethal" seems like an interesting choice for a name :D. Do you know if it means anything or why is that her name? I just stumbled upon this game browsing Mortal Combat X vids :). If I'm not mistaken she's "Ramlethal" in Japanese version too, so it wasn't a translation and Japanese were the ones who went for the name. These guys have weird taste sometimes :D Does she ram into you so hard that it's lethal or what? :D
Lawliet45 I think they chose it because they thought it sounded cool, I'm not sure what connotation it may have. Her name has nothing to do with her move set, as hilarious as that would be.
ZeroHazard I thing the voices are pretty good, but there are a few that I'd change. I feel Sol's voice is a bit too rough. And Venom's voice should be deeper, although people new to the franchise probably shouldn't have a problem with it, I'm just used to the deeper Japanese voice. And I don't see a problem with Ramlethal's voice.
Well considering the person whose name he's based on is pronounced the same way, it only seems fitting. Not to mention, I don't know what you want it to be pronounced as. "Keese-kay?" Because Ky is french, not japanese.
Hm. In general, I didn't think they were all THAT bad. Slayer, Axl, and Bedman were especially good. However I do have problems with two characters: Potemkin and Venom. For Potemkin, I imagined it to be lower-pitched and more gruff sounding. As for Venom, I just think it could have been deeper.
If ASW is going to make a third Guilty Gear Xrd game and probably the final Gear Gear game to end the series then i hope to hope this time they will bring back and add in the english dub in that game. I don't care what people or the japanese voice acting lover and english haters or whatever say, it was such a turn off and disappointment and such when they removed the english voice acting in second Xrd game Revelator.
Honestly, I hated the voices at first but I'm getting used to them slowly. Still, I don't think any amount of effort will help me get used to English Sol.
Guilty Gear has been a solid series for a long time The problems has always been that games like street fighters and SNK exist and this games has never had the type of attention that it deserve.

Is it wrong that I enjoy the dub more than the original voices? In 9/10 cases I would've chosen japanese, but this game particularly makes me keep the dub,especially for Slayer.
Does anyone recommend this game? I have an itch for a good fighting game and I've heard this game was pretty awesome and from what I'm seeing, this is freaking nuts. Any comments would be nice.
