Cans of nitro now 14 euro you get more per can and its generally more consistent also 8 cans of 500 ml are 16 euro so not much in it at all 568 can v 500
Got the nitrosurger for Christmas, was impressed enough. I mean it's not a pub pint but a solid house one. £20 for 12 cans Tesco were doing as well so stocked up.
Or 2 pint glasses, run the 2 of em thru the surger, while usin pin prick trick on 500ml can. Then top up 500ml can with a drop out of another 500ml can. I know it might be a waste of 2nd 500ml can but sure for the purposes of a comparison why the hell not?!
What you reported is exactly what I thought from my tasting - goes to show just how great a job that little widget was. I still like the nitrosurge because it looks the part and fills a pint glass but taste-wise, there's very little between them.

Is the fact the original can had less and it wouldn’t have filled to the top of the glass was gonna be an issue - could ye not have topped it up with a second original can?😂

In terms of taste, how COULD they be different, since it’s the same drink? The nitro gives you the creamy pub-like dome head. It’s not supposed to taste different. It’s the same beverage you’re getting in a pub.
