Hey, I just found your channel and this video and must say awesome stuff! I'm beginner player so I was wondering if you have any tips on how to learn to imporv like this? Are you playing notes from the pentatonic scale?
Hi, glad you came by! And thanks a lot for the compliments! Well, what helped me a lot is listening to a lot of different music over the years, and then try mimic or emulate some bits on guitar. Learning scales (pentatonic scales, but also a the various major and minor scales) helps a lot, and then I guess it's more or less jumping in, recording yourself and see what happens.
