This brings me great joy! I'm so glad to have been some part of your guitar journey and the fact that the guitar is called "Lee" actually means a lot to me. It's nice to be remembered. I remember playing your guitar at the time and really liking the huge frets and soft feel it had. I said, "we should trade strats" and handed you the black guitar. You played maybe three notes and said, "Take it. Take it" You really did immediately know that belonged with you. And that makes me happy. It does belong with you, my friend. Many more good years with it!
Über 10 Jahre schon her :-D
That is a nice clip, I love this old Errorhead Song. After Corona bring it on stage again! Your playing is outstanding, its not a Jeff Beck vibe for me. Its a Marcus Deml vibe!
I recently got very interested in Strats but was tired of the same old blues and country styles. I discovered two great but different musicians who push the envelope creatively with the instrument. These men also know how to use single coils for a heavy sound and utilize a six screw vibrato as well as any high end two post model. Marcus Deml and Bernie Tormei, one more refined and the other more in your face. It seems Marcus favors HSS configuration now.
This IS how a Stratocaster should sound. At least, to my liking. The way this guitar's fretboard is worn I believe you've spent at least dozen thousands of hours playing it or two. Obviously re-fretted... I'm kind of nervous about re-fretting my own loved Stratocaster. But I guess I won't have any choice because of many bends are impossible to do, they just die, so ridiculous, haha. Thanks for another tasteful video and your personal story! Looking forward to your upcoming solo album!
I almost forgot to say that I remember this guitar from 2009 or so when I've discovered you, Marcus. It was on some live performances, including this song featured in the video, also "The Dealer" and "Bhakti".
The Desert Eyeland-Guitar! What a cool bone to boil your amp on! This guitar is your extended backbone - you can even hear it! I'm going to get this Kloppmann set now too! Damn it, you sound so awesome!
Yes it is!!! Here is the only place you can get the same Pickups with the Nickel cover: www.triplecoilmusic.com/signature/product/61-errorhead-signature-pickup-set-ssh-by-kloppmann
@@marcusdemlofficial i imagine that as well with my les paul (cover) vs. super strat (no cover)....despite the other constructive differences obviously. I feel with cover its more "woody" sounding and less bitey. How would you describe the difference?
