@@lennymiller8727 If anybody that's ever talked to me wasn't already 99.999999% positive that I hadn't noticed, commented, liked, & shared then I haven't done my job properly is all I'm saying.. 😏
THIS IS WHY I LOVE STEVEN PAGE! I don't want my rockstars to be supermen(women) I want them to be painfully human, passionate, and amazingly humble. Thankyou, CBC, Jian, but most of all Steven.
Steve has done shows recently with Kevin, and references BNL (kindly) quite often in interviews. I've come to believe that he didn't quit BNL, but that he was fired, most likely by Ed personally. Also, I have seen BNL live w/o Steve and Ed has referenced him, but in a really roundabout and mean way talking about "some asshole I used to know" and other backhanded comments. I was really disappointed in him.
+Sarah W. I believe the same thing, I have since I heard of the breakup. You could see in the interviews following it. Steve seemed more sad about it and Ed seemed, I don't know, upset at him and really tried to avoid the topic from then on.
Sarah T. ... But that doesn't make any sense.. Ed's never said anything bad at all in any interview. Why would he say something bad about Steve to what are basically Steve's fans too?.. If he were going to do that why wouldn't he just come out and say it in interviews as well? Are you positive that he was talking about Steve and not someone else?
And I don't think you can fire somebody that is basically your front person.. It seemed like they were more terrified in the beginning that they wouldn't make it without him until they realised people loved both of them not just one or the other..
One of the things I love aboit Steve is that I can relate to him as a mediocre guitar player. I can play all of his songs, where as Ed's are much more difficult. In that documentary (the name escapes me), Ed flat out says (I'm paraphrasing) "Steve's not a very good guitar player, but he has amazing rythm.
Steven...thx...you saved me a BUNCH of time...I was hearing Am Em7 in 2nd bridge and the Cmaj7 was subtle. Also thanks for the "Secret Agent Man" profs.
