Instead of the regular copper wiring going around the pickups it’s layers of computer chips. Fishman only made pickups for high end electric acoustic guitars but has been doing electric guitars the past decade and is doing very well with a ton of big name players that have signature models but their all active I believe don’t quote me on that but I’m pretty sure
Did you ever get to try the Kramer Satchel guitar. I like the Charvel's The necks on Charvel's are awesome. That is a nice guitar. I have a set of Fishman Modern humbuckers in a guitar. When I push down I guess it is supposed to sound more like a passive pickup and pulled out like an active. Yeah those pickups push the front of your amp. have to dial the gain back a bit.
I've seen the Kramer tiger stripe but I didn't know it was a satchel. I LOVE tiger stripes, I have two...I guess it's cuz I love Kats. I might have to add one of the Kramer's just for the hell of it. Yeah, you nailed it on the Fishman's that's exactly how I should have described them!
@@guitarzen7080 I dont know if the tiger stipe they have now is the same or it is and they just took his name off of it since he moved over to Charvel. I remember seeing the ones that looked like jaguar spots
I appreciate a good review on this guitar. I bought mine on New Years 2020 (green bengal) and I had Satchel sign it with a red sharpie in September 2021 I love the guitar, I also brought mine to my luthier and had a D-Tuna installed plus a couple extra small things like a small block of wood glued behind the Floyd so it doesn’t go up at all! If it’s not a floating bridge and had the D-Tuna then I wanna make sure I can’t pull up on accident it keeps it in way better tune also but I also paid the same price for the green one and love everything about it I hope you enjoy yours brother rock on 🤘
