@@joonpak that's the point: at top level chess such little mistakes lead to catastrophe. Actually that's not a blunder, because he didn't lose material immediately or hasn't mistaken into a forced checkmate, he made a solid move. The problem is that Gukesh has found the move, that wins. And as it was mentioned above - it was not an easy task.

You should make a tournament that when you move a piece it tells you whether it was top engine move, good, questionable or wrong, like the ludwig one, but no eval var it would just tell you whether your past move was good or bad

People don’t realize that even though Levy jokes about this, yes the top grandmasters actually watch Gotham chess. Imagine seeing yourself on the largest chess channel in the world ofcourse you’re gonna watch. You being 1100 and watching chess content on your free time so just imagine; these GMs literally eat, breath, and sleep chess so if you’re watching they are definitely watching. Maybe not to learn but for entertainment. This thought has always just been on my mind.

You think Magnus or Nepo or Ding watch Gotham? No disrespect to Levy as he runs a great channel, but those guys wouldn't find anything of interest on this channel.

@@andrewkoines6389 Yes. The same way NBA players will watch their highlights on youtube. When someone makes a recap of you, you’re gonna watch.

I assume part of the reason for playing openings that engines disfavour is to try to get around the opponent's prep and into murky territory where experience and insight matters more than memorised moves.
