Fans in India are so much more respectful than the Fabi/Hikaru fanboys. Love that you can support Gukesh without being toxic towards other players. If Fabi and Naka won, they would be trash talking Ding Liren right now. But all I see are excitement around a Gukesh and Ding WCC match. True chess fans. Much respect. I doubt that Ding will defend the Title. I feel like chess is now a chore to him, no longer a passion. So, he may get defeated by Gukesh, which is sad. Therefore, I think it is better for him to let those that are hungry for the title compete. I think India deserves another champion. Chess is not just a game to India, like it is to other countries. Chess is their pride! Honestly, I don't know why Fabi and Naka fans care so much about them being the next world champion, like the US gives a damn about chess. The US cares most about basketball and football. EU and Americas outside the US care most about soccer. China cares most about Chinse chess. Koreans and Japanese have their own chess. Only in India where we find the true love for chess.

While watching this video imagine that both of these guys smoked something whacky before this interview. But that, clearly it was very different substance between the two. It’s a much more interesting interview that way.
He has not given any interview to Chessbase India coz they both have an understanding that his winning is more important than him answering questions.He also doesn't want to give u any interview in middle of games coz that can be a distraction but he knows if he does that than that may sever ties between your company and him.
I think gukesh is light yagami .he intentionally played bad in normal games to look like the weakest indian candidate .and then catches everyone offgaurd and won
