Love me rumbler, and just tried a variation of this using Bull Butcher and Rumbler. I kept the Ogryn Nuke, and went to the middle capstone, for lot of extra survivability, and holy wtf I did the most damage I've ever done and was at max health most of the time. Tons of fun, and Bull Butcher needs almost nothing from the left tree to do its job of huge horde clear. Love the gunlugger rumbler!
Not a bad guide. There are a couple of things worth mentioning: 1) Charmed reload had a recent 50% nerf, but the tool tip still displays the old data. Charmed is really only BiS on the Gorgonum now, as the lower mag capacity means better returns. 2) The Krourk is currently the weakest of the 3 since the Achlys buffs. Until it gets some love, it vastly underperformed compared to the other two. 3) You don't need +maniac% to 1 shot a mutie with the weapon special on the folding shovels. And if you rock Crunch and Thrust with +Carapace%, you can 1 shot Crushers with a good stat roll. But with Thrust alone, you can 2-tap Crushers and Maulers with fully charged weapon specials. 4) Reloaded and Ready is a must-have for single shot weapons. 1 talent point for a solid +12% dmg increase is amazing value. Steady Grip is extremely undertuned and Lynchpin is a much stronger alternative. Payback Time and Dominate are worth looking at for reliable dps gains, too.
I would definitely strip the 6 keystone talents from mobile emplacement and below on the rumbler build to go for dominate, payback and reloaded & ready it seems a much more worthy investment
Steady Grip, Pacemaker and Furious are all bad nodes. For a Rumbler build, I wouldn't even go past Big Boom on the glugger side. Much better to go down the middle for Feel No Pain once you've grabbed PBB, Coward Culling and Big Boom.
there is a roll on the mk5 shovel that lets you 1 tap crushers with BM 4, thrust 4, Elites 4 and carapace 4 without needing crunch, but good luck rolling that.
It should be noted that the charmed reload +10 ammo is the same for all heavy stubbers. Giving the Gorgonum Mk4 Heavy Stubber an edge if you look at it from the perspective of damage per ammo.
Dude that rumbler build, Never cared for it but that build I’ve had some of the most fun I’ve ever had and occasionally with the double shots plus ammo gain. Jeebus
gorgonum is trash, its wildly inacurate, slow fire rate and barely has any ammo! the achlys on the other hand, accurate af, fast fire rate and alot of ammo. i never run out of ammo with the achlys either, i always end up with my ability just reloading the gun and dropping down hellfire in an auric horde! Gorgonum is bad, krourke is meh but Achlys is the GOAT
That's an Achlys with Light Em Up vs a carapace armoured target. It isn't supposed to crack open carapace. Hail of Fire on a Gorgonum would crack it open, but that's neither here nor there.
Gunlugger only works on low levels auric maelstrom you're dead and you haven't killed anything before that horde is on you and your pointlessly pew pew pewing into the endless maulers and crushers oh yeah good luck killing the endless endless screaming monsters plus waiting and waiting to get the perk reloaded also finding the ammo after 45 seconds on the map gulugger is absolute bunk past t4
Completely disagree. Gunlugger works on all levels and it's DMG numbers are through the roof. Achlys PBB with Fire Ammo slaps any boss and ca wipe any mob, going through bulwarks as well. Glugger is one of the strongest build for any difficulty. Aurics and Maelstroms included.
