What is hard to understand? This is the way of the world now. Get used to it because you will only see more of it. We've had almost one school shooting per day in this country. We have almost two mass shootings per day in this country. Those numbers are only going up.

No, the school being locked prevented the shooter from entering the school. Do you know how stupid that sounds--we need more people around the school to be armed? I want you to research school shootings. 99% of the time there are already dead children and teachers BEFORE the gunman is taken out.

Maybe take measures to prevent mentally ill people from getting ahold of guns. But that would cut into the gun industry profits

I'm 48, and we didn't. Gen X didn't have this problem. This all started with millennials and Gen Z.

39 here. Columbine happened when I was in 11th grade. They closed the campus, but we never had to do drills before I was out of there.

I’m 55, we had our guns on gun racks of our pick-up trucks in the student parking lot & only drills we ever did were for fires.

The realer question is whether your hatred of the LGBTQ stems from some internal struggle....

That’s not what defunding means. And if more funding were placed elsewhere then first responders would not have to deal with so much because many of these calls and incidents stem from mental health problems. we need more funding where mental health is concerned.. it literally would help first responders, and make their jobs easier. Like having more mental health specialists employed by police departments for example.

The police in Mount Horeb and Dane County as a whole are quite well funded, and clearly more effective than many in the "Back the Blue" red states.
