Well I'll be! It's nice to see a hand painting gunpla builder. I use brushes and make up sponges myself. Something about getting your hands in there makes it more fun for me than an air brush. Keep it up!
I am color blind I was going to ask if you could you show what paints and color name your using when you poor your paint on pallet I would like to pick up some of those paints and your videos are unmatched by the way hand painting perfected! Thank you Mr. Detective
Sorry, this issue happened to be the one I revised, so I removed the color introduction. I will add the color description again if there are updates later.
How are you achieving such a smooth finish without texture? When I use water based acrylic it seems so matte and textured it become hard to apply decals and panel line.
I have also gone through a lot of practice. If you want to achieve this effect, in addition to practice, you can try to understand the characteristics of each paint.
