They have crowd interaction at some point in this show. Axl does a stage dive and then the crowd try to take pieces of him home with them. Watched this show many times.

Was that at the Ritz? Pretty sure it was St Louis

@@LN-Lifer Well, I think St Louis is the one where he sees a guy with a camera so he dives in to beat the person up and to take the camera.

You can't fairly compare Axl's voice from 1988 (25 yrs old) to 2023 (61 yrs old) because time catches up to all of us. When GN'R played here in Detroit in 2017, they played for 3 hrs N' 25 mins, Axl screamed all night like he had something to prove and most of it was pretty strong. My theory of his current situation is that Axl could have damaged his vocal cords while singing with AC-DC back in 2015 and the constant touring ever since the Duff-Axl-Slash reunion has just made his voice paper thin. There's something going on with him that's more than just vocal fatigue, I think there is an underlining health issue. But I wish them the best because they just announced a 2023 tour...........

These legacy bands tour waaaay too much imho. Because all the money is in touring now (they make bugger all from music anymore) they just play too many shows at the age these guys now are. It's not just Axl.....Jon Bon Jovi, Paul Stanley, David Lee Roth.....their voices are all shot. They frequently sound terrible live. And given the high ticket prices they charge I'm sorry.....but no. I'm not paying to hear these songs sung badly. Back in 2016/2017 when the reunion first started I saw them live in Osaka, Japan and Axl's voice was pretty good for the most part. He had rested his voice, and worked with a vocal coach. So the first two years he was good and of course the tour he did with AC/DC he sounded great too. But now after a few years.....a LOT of touring.....Axl's voice is clearly shot. The live videos of recent shows.....he sounds terrible.

Of course not😂😂😂 decades singing with all his might in full rock n roll mode no care except put on a great show and push the limit. Its a miracle he is alive. Anyone with any knowledge of singing knows its a miracle he can still talk at all

Would love to see a 90's performance reaction, they evolved a lot. Knocking On Heaven's Door at Wembley (they interact with the crowd a little bit) and Estranged at Tokyo are good ones to check. Axl Rose interacts a lot with the crowd but more in between the songs, he kinda tells stories, talks a bit about the songs and improvises a bit in between the songs, during the songs not so much they just go full blast. Of course there are exception, at that same concert you reacted Axl stage dives during Paradise City, and Knocking on heaven's door is always their go to to sing along with the crowd! Thanks for another vid David!

This entire concert was great! I saw GN'R live in the early 2000's when the band was very different from what it is today. Still, they were excellent and Axl sounded incredible.

I've edited both of these songs. the best song ever a cheap bottle of wine called nightrain, inspires the gnr personnel in a quest to make money before it reaches popularity. they date ladies of the night club, for a little cash.

I love Guns and Roses on records. Live not that great. You should hear Myles Kennedy sing this with Slash. It is much better. Again, not knocking Axl, but with his raspy voice, they usually have vocal issues. Right on with your review.

Good rating. I was guessing you'd rate it 7.1. It seemed to lack energy, somehow, but maybe that's just what I was feeling. It was a lack of crowd interaction, I think, that made it seem like it has less energy.

Axl with his latest duet with Carrie Underwood was almost prime Axl. I think he's had something done because there was no Mickie Mouse

This is their prime right here but to me they all seem wiped out. Axl is trying his hardest, slash's solo was sloppy... maybe they were at the end of a long tour or just played a bunch of nights in a row I don't know. Gnr was awesome during this time but I was expecting a lower score out of this one particular video. Still love this song though. Still love this whole album.

This gig is hailed as legendary just because it’s pro-shot. Slash said in his book that this was not a very good gig, but there was a lot of energy.

Lost respect for GnR for their antics and fan neglect. This performance did not win me back. The drums stood out, but the rest of the band sounded like trash. At least Axl performed like he wanted to be on stage. It was better than Kurt Cobain yodeling.
