LMAO Even though I'm a big fan of GNR, I've got to say this is pretty funny. Axl's past his prime, but I'll still gladly take this group over a lot of what's on the radio nowadays.
Does anyone ever consider his voice being sore because he may be sick? Everyone knows he has a mind blowing voice and still tries to sound like he did in the 80's, a lot of singers just sing things differently and Axl keeps belting it out every night, there is obviously something wrong with his throat at night.
At least he could change the verses. If he sang the second part at first, he could used his inteligence to sang the first one at second... but the shit was already done
He got so grumpy after failing over, he stopped running about and just stood still and sang. Was good up until he fell over haha. Then the bassist also fell over and nearly off the stage!
Also, he has instructed security to tell people wearing Slash TShirts at his gig to take them off. If that doesn't scream bitter diva I don't know what does. I'm sure Jesse Leach won't kick off of if people turn up to Killswitch gigs wearing TShirts depicting albums where Howard Jones sang.
this is guns n roses now, if you dont like it, why you are here?, go to play guitar hero kid, new guns n roses rules, Axl's voice is fine, I was there, watch Welcome to the jungle, cool voice. Ok kid, go watch slash playing pop and duff saying "justin bieber is a rockstar".
I think Axl acted very professionally by singing the best he could after falling this hard on the stage ... he was probably in pain which accounts for his weak voice .... I think it's unfair to fall down on him on this very performance ....
Guns and Roses at one point were an epic band. Now they are nothing, and it is all Axl's undoing. He is rude, arrogant and thinks he still holds this epic status which he does not. He has let is vocals go to hell which listening to this video anyone with hearing can tell. People love Slash because he is humble, and does not think of himself as a god as Axl does, he treats his fans with the dignity they deserve, shows up on time and performs with his heart and soul.
i came here through Metal Hammer :) it's funny how he falls over, sings the second verse lyrics for the first AND second verse, stands still and sounds horrible. Although I saw these guys in London and you can't deny that they are awesome - hear the classics, playing 33 songs and rocking out even if they did come on late!
