thank you to anyone who thinks this is a bad dub you have now made me realize no matter how good a dub is some people will just hate it now I know you opinions are invalid.
no offense but...just because SOME people think all dubs are shit doesn't mean that ALL people who think subs are better should have their opinion invalidated i mean...i don't think its that difficult to listen to and contemplate on someones opinion instead of throwing them all out and saying they are invalid... tho that might just be me...also you're probably never gonna read this so this is kinda pointless...oh well
This dub is actually shit When Kamina says aim for the surface it sounds so forced and fake The only good dubs that I have found so far are Cowboy Bebop and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.

@@noise6327 Yeah those are like really expensive. I probably am gonna buy one of those one day, but not for now. They hopefully keep it on your Netflix, but they probably won't, because they don't own it. So watch it as often as you can
The plot twist in the middle of the series, as devastating as it was, had to happen for character growth reasons. That growth is part of what makes Gurren Lagann so fantastic. But the ending is a different matter. Even the creator of Gurren Lagann admitted recently that he regretted ending the series that way and would have made it a happy ending if he could do it over.
Happy 16th Birthday / Anniversary Gurren Lagann!! This show changed my life. I don't think I'd be the person I am today without it, hell I might not even be here at all if I hadn't seen it.
I fully watched this, this year and just now learned it was made in 2007. This is such a good looking anime that I thought it was made recently until I saw a anime intros 1990 - 2020 video and saw this was made in 07.
This anime was awesome and it's tied for 1st as my favorite anime. I remember buying an anime magazine and had a section about Gurren Lagann and that it was playing on the Sci-Fi channel. I watched it and instantly fell in love.
I will look up those prices out of curiosity.....if so I'm lucky, literally some 15 minutes ago I bought it on a marketplace site for 15 euro. Lucky day I guess.

I recently rewatched abenobashi magical shopping arcade. early then did I realize just how much came from that show into this one, I need to re-watch gurren lagann for all the cameos now.
This was the first non main stream anime I’ve ever watched. I loved this back wen I was 14. I’m now 20 the same age Simon was at the end... THATS crazy

Madara Uchiha most people just think its just dragon ball z with overpowered people screaming at each other but it definitely has a great mature story with characters pretty hard to forget
The Final Fantasy Collector's Edition, which had ports of the older games to PS1 disks as well as reprints of the PS and 2 games. Combined with soundtrack CDs, art books and giant high quality prints. And somehow it costs less then this.
Just wait until right stuf drop the prices on these blu ray sets, since no one is going to buy them, nor will they sell out. It may take 2 or 3 years, but they will have a clearance sale on those sets at some point to clear the inventory.
I watched this anime on Crunchyroll on a whim and holy shit was I glad I did! One my favorite anime of all time and just watching this trailer I teared up. This anime really hits me in the feels it's epic!
yea whats with the lack of HD? Who puts up an advertisement for a bluray set that costs $500 dollars and doesn't even show off the main selling point. I would love to have this show on bluray but I would never spend that much money on it. I would MAYBE spend that much on a bluray set of all the current one piece episodes in one box.
they put this back on hulu with the Japanese voice overs, I miss the english one, so if any of you don't care for wasting $500 on $30 worth extra( not including the movies) go their. Or any anime showing website but finding this in good quality is hard
It exists in HD, this is just a compressed trailer from 2008. My DVD copy is in 1080p and I'm sure all digital releases will be too. Of course the earlier episodes look a bit worse but the later parts of Part 1 and onwards look clean

i think this is a special one. I have never watched this show and i barely know anything about it (ik this is a mecha show with a lot of action) but this feels different.( Ps this will be my first mecha if i pick this up)
Don't forget they also have all of the movies that come within this $600 package. But yeah, I agree that this is ridiculously expensive. But at least you'd be supporting a wonderful anime!
