This song takes me back to being a teen, Disturbia was seriously and still is one of my favorite movies, this song is my time machine🤍

Reminds me of being a teenager. picking her up in your moms car. going to the movies. just being young and dumb. a good time before life happens and you're depressed. disturbia is a great film

Is it weird that this song inspires nostalgia in me instead of sadness? Don't get me wrong, I completely understand what's so depressing about it, but when I listen to it, I think back to listening to this album in the car on my trip to Colorado in '08, aged 15 (though I heard it long before that, even before Disturbia was released. Hipster much?). It was during that time that I felt the most carefree and happy, even if my idea of happiness at the time revolved around other people.

Guster is so under rated.

It’s definitely Nostalgia it inspires. If you think about, it’s one of the main themes in Disturbia. We’ve all had dreams when we were teenagers and we’re all disappointed to a certain extent to where we’ve gotten to in our 30s. For most, this is when reality hits you. It’s the time you realise you’re screwing up cause you’re not care free anymore. The end of the song is depressing on purpose, I think. But this is to inspire the audience to change the direction their lives is taking. It’s never too late to get back to our “adolescent dreams”.

i tried to play this song on my laptop back in 2011. I tried a lot but we didn't have internet. Now I'm living my adolescent dreams. Listening to this song on my laptop on wifi. I am a one man wrecking machine. It might not sound like much but it matters so much to me.

It took me 10 years to find this song. My older sister had it on her shuffle the one that didn’t have a screen an I was never able to know the artist. The nostalgia in this song runs heavy such a beautiful song 🎶🙌🏻

This is such a perfect song about where you got stuck in life... I think it is just encouraging you to accept it, admit it, do what you can to fix it, and make efforts to move on:)

Guster is one of the best bands in 90's. I just want to say NO ONE BROUGHT ME HERE but my pure LOVE OF GUSTER MUSIC.

THis song reminds me of late summer nights of 2005/2006. Staying out late getting drunk, smoking weed, and doing drugs all night till the early morning sunrise, with my friends and good people that we all used to go to Highsvhool together now..
